Rooms, swimming pools, gym, localization- everything was perfect. A lot of good restaurants pretty near to the hotel. Staff was extra friendly. We enjoyed our 2 weeks here very much. Breakfast - we couldn’t eat it. We are not peaky - everything’s was very greasy and sweet. This isn’t our first time in Thailand ( actually 5th) so we knew what we should expect. The milk for coffee was curdled and at the first day we ask for the fresh one - and the cooking lady said that it’s normal. Even scrambled eggs were sweet - no clue why. Everything’s else was perfect - except breakfasts;)

The best staff, amazing room and very nice pool (there are actually 2 pools!). The location is not in the old town but we really enjoyed. You need to take grab everywhere but anyways this city doesnt offer public transportation so wherever you stay, you will need grab. There are very nice coffee/ food spots around and many 7/11 tho. (There is also a nice rooftop that we discovered late ahahah) Nothing:) I love this place so much, surely we are coming back.

Near market and microwave booking.com didn't tell that it is apartment. shower room smell too bad and couldn't fix. swimming pool is small but picture . food is same everyday .

Well-kept rooftop with beautiful view of Doi Suthep. Front desk will help you with any request, big or small. Ask the lovely staff how you can support local businesses during your stay. This is my fourth time as a guest at Opium. The wi-fi is usually unstable. I recommend arriving with unlimited data if you want to stay connected.

Both of the pool is clean and nice. The bedroom is big and the window is big. The bathroom is nice. Easy to check in and check out. They let me check in even I get there early. The bed is a bit noise and feels like broken. But it was okay. The breakfast is decent. But not very good. I stayed there 2 nights, same breakfast for both days. Had to log in again and again for the wifi.

Beautiful property with great amenities. I don’t usually leave reviews, but this place is amazing value! I will be booking the same room when I come back.

Loved the Banana tree view from my window, the staff were very friendly and helpful, they helped me book activities, you can extend check out time by paying extra or check out and leave your luggage in a safe locked room with them.

Great atmosphere and perfect location to explore Chiang Mai. The hotel has a stylish and modern vibe with a very relaxing pool area. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and the staff were always kind and welcoming. Plenty of cafés, restaurants, and nightlife nearby which made the stay even better.

The Opium is a perfect place to stay in Chiang Mai. It is close to the city center and airport by taxi or Tuktuk. The rooms and facilities are very convenient. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They upgraded our room, which is appreciated. We enjoyed both pools ? Nothing!

The pools are lovely. The breakfast is really good. The staff is kind. The decor is nice as well. Really reputable place. A There was really loud construction coming from the room next door which damaged our opinion of the hotel otherwise I would have thought it was perfect.

I had a great stay at The Opium Chiang Mai. The hotel is located in a quiet area, which made it perfect for relaxing after a long day exploring Chiang Mai. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with a modern touch that made the stay very comfortable. The pool area is great… BUT the mosquitoes apparently also booked a stay So yeah, you’re not swimming alone—free “extra guests” included.

The space is well taken care of and clean, staff is very attentive and kind. The room was spacious. The location is perfect for walking around to countless food options and more without having to drive anywhere but also about 15 minutes from most major cities in the city. There’s nothing I would say could improve.

The hotel is in a nice quiet area, not lots around but enough for our few days stay. Our room was wonderful, the spaces were well thought out and our Son enjoyed having his own private bedroom with en-suite within our apartment. The pool was a lovely touch, we used it in the afternoon for a nice cooling dip once we'd returned from sightseeing. The 7/11 round the corner was close enough and nice and handy for filling up our fridge in our room with drinks and snacks. The staff were lovely and very helpful. Booking our trip to Pai through them was nice and easy too. We would definitely stay here again. Nothing to report
