The receptionists were polite, smiling, very patient and then I extended for two more nights

Location is great right by night market The shower head was so low I had to sit on the floor to get under it and the grout was moldy and coming off

We very much enjoyed our stay! There were ants in the room even though we didn’t have food open.

The staff were friendly enough. Breakfast room had two steep steps down from where to the buffet was laid out to where the tables and chairs were. Very little food that was hot, the burners under the food containers weren’t lit up. No egg station except for runny sunny side up fried eggs ! Other choices could be made, although the kitchen was reluctant to provide

We stayed for two nights, positive points... central, good breakfast buffet and nice views, negative points... right next door every night there is very loud music, in our room there was no kettle for coffee, we asked for one at reception and when we went to use it the next day it was used and did not work. Very positive point, 50 meters from the hotel there are highly recommended massages

Excellent value, clean rooms, friendly and very helpful staff, they helped organise a taxi driver for us for the day for a very good price. Would recommend and certainly stay again.

The staff was nice, location was great, good value for money Breakfast was light and not a lot of options, we had ants in our room and the toilet had some weird noises, the room was a bit empty to my taste

Exceptional

The location is very convenient: Close to night market, close to old town and close to a lot of restaurants That the cleaning staff could not handle to close my door properly after its service. Over 9 nights, I have encountered my door open 8 time despite my claims over and over to management. The room was ok but remains very dusty.

The downstairs hotel breakfast is legendary. It was huge. They had everything. European breakfast, American breakfast, Thai breakfast, general Asian breakfast, it was one of the largest buffets I have ever seen. The lobby entrance is nice and welcoming. The rooms are huge. They are doing their best, but the place is kind of rundown. The rooms are pretty old.

I liked that it was so close to Brazaar and Markets right next door to the hotel. Walking distance to general shops. Security is an issue: The door need to slam shut to make sure it is securely closed. I returned from an outing and the door was ajar, obviously was not slammed shut after cleaners had been. It wasn't only my door, other doors appeared to be the same.. It's rated 4 stars however at the most it is 3 star.

I can't praise the staff enough, this is clearly a hotel that standards are being driven up by the new management. Attention to detail is certainly high on their agenda, staff with clip boards are everywhere making sure everything is correct. We have witnessed when the standards were not met this quickly rectified. For example at breakfast when senior managers inspected the breakfast buffet and instructed staff to fill the serving dishes and condiments etc. We have also seen this with cleanliness, lots of inspection and lots of cleaning. The hotel has already undergone extensive renovation, to the reception, restaurant, communal areas and bedroom' s, the pool area is functional but is planned to be renovated to the high standards of the rest of the hotel
