Eco Resort Chiang Mai

The pool closes at 7:00pm which is a bit too early for my liking and one of the buildings doesn't have the restroom inside the bedroom so you have to walk down a hall.

We had a great time there. Big plus for the swimming pool and tasty breakfast. Nice garden. The hotel experienced flood last year and it is visible but the Staff does everything to make the space cozy and clean.

We stayed for 3 nights. The pool is fantastic and the green area around the rooms. 1. When checking in they told us we have to change rooms after 1 night. They upgraded us to a better room for one night which seemingly is a nice thing but we quicky noticed they have a system for this and we overheard several guests this happened to. It was mostly just annoying to be forced to switch rooms and checking out and in again... 2. They accused us of not having paid for our room at several times. We showed them our bank statement and booking.com statement but they wouldn't believe us and refused to check with Booking themselves. When checking out they threatened with calling the police because they've dealt with "people like us" before. Even their manager said the same thing before finally calling Booking and realising they had made a mistake but still blamed it on Booking. We later recieved an email from Booking apologising on behalf of the hotel... 3. Breakfast is not worth paying for. Runs out, bad watermelon, cold eggs, terrible coffee. 4. Very loud between rooms.

We loved our room upstairs, and showers in the upstairs were very clean and modern, great value. Lovely grounds, nice modern and comfortable rooms. Lovely clean pool. Breakfast included for our room. Situated close to city centre (20 mins walk into centre or 5 mins by moped). Lots of Mosquitoes in downstairs shower area but not huge issue as was able to use the upstairs ones.

The resort is beautifully designed, but very noisy. My room was behind a noisy refriderator/air con and noisy all night. Also there is a lot of light coming from the all night through full lightening if the corridors and walkways.... Also some evenings noise from partying. All that may not matter if you stay for a couple of nights but I stayed two weeks for studying and it was really annoying after a week

Its a tranquil large resort but priced for hostellers smelling of jasmine as you stroll past a full length lap pool to your room Feels like country but a short 5 km grab ride to old town good dinner restaurant adjacent and ok breakfast and considerate chill guests of all ages Tepid coffee and fried eggs not a deal breaker

The rooms was small, but functional. The doors seem thin, and you can hear absolutely everything. There was a large group of students staying at the resort and they broke a shower and 2 toilets while we were there. (Shared bathroom facilities) The washroom was never attended to during our 3 days and the garbages were overflowing.

There was no drinking water nor napkin in the room. 890 THB isn't a low price for accommodation in Thailand.. so please consider providing necessary products inside the room. By mid day, the bins in the bathroom were still piled with hand paper all over the floor... it wasn't very clean.

Best pool that we’ve used in Chiang Mai! Friendly staff and helpful when booking excursions Easy to walk to local food places WiFi stopped working a lot, had to get it fixed three times and still wasn’t working by the time we left Bathrooms need a deep clean Beds were really hard

The pool, the towels, tea and coffee and kettle, comfy bed and helpful staff. The breakfast was basic and the same both days. Scrambled egg or omelette would have been good. No option for non dairy milk. It was about a 25 - 30 min walk into the old town but grab bike is cheap. The walls were thin you could hear the conversation in the next room.
