Beautiful hotel in a quiet area. Right next to a beautiful lake and walking Park.

When you are looking for a good room it is a perfect hotel. Quiet but not close to town. We did not mind because we were on our way to the South. We booked via "grab" a taxi to downtown. Perhaps the distance to the old toen but we knew so no problem.

The room is standard, nothing special. The location is a little bit far from town, but no problem for us since we rented a car. A big plus is its proximity to the Charming Chiang Mai Flower Parade and Fountain Show, just a 15 minute walk away. The breakfast is at standard level and the coffee is not good.

The room When somebody closes the door from there room, you can hear this through the whole building. So unlucky you hear this yet the whole night.

Bed. Spacious. Garden and lake. Sparten room with one chair for two people. Felt like overflow accommodation. Leaking sink waste flooded into the bathroom before I tightened it by hand and mopped up with a towel to prevent slipping. A show taking place in the hotel grounds for hours/ages - thumping base and hysterical vocals - could be heard miles away. But we were adjacent. 5 minute walk to the breakfast room and an unappetising choice of breakfast foods and drinks.. We chose to leave and find something more imaginative like ba-tung-go. I am told the hotel is managed for the armed forces and was originally a recupperation center. It's large proportions and lack of warmth would not inspire me to recovery, physical or mental.

The only thing I would say I found that I didn't like was the large market across the lake was a bit noisy. But they stop promptly around 10 pm.
