The hotel itself is beautiful and the staff are friendly. The room was very run down and the door to the outside had gaps around the edge, so bugs got in. The shower wasn't good at all and the bathroom door didn't close properly. Also it was quite hard getting a taxi to pick us up as it was out of the way a bit. Also there were no windows in the bedroom, so it felt a bit dark and depressing.

Nothing, everything was perfect.

Restaurant below average. Building needs a bit of maintenance.

The common area where breakfast is served was very nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The laundry service offered by the hotel was excellent. The sheets and towels were all clean. The pictures online make the hotel look a lot nicer than it is. In reality, the rooms seemed a little dingy, especially in corners, on fixtures, etc. Also, the beds are quite hard. Overall it wasn't a bad experience, and the price was good, but our expectations had been raised (by their website) and the hotel didn't live up to it.

I always looked forward to breakfast by the pool. The ladies that managed the breakfast were the sweetest, and I miss them. Coming back every day to a clean room with freshly made beds was amazing. I felt well taken care of here. All the staff were very friendly and I would love the chance to come stay here again someday.

Every part of the hotel was of a high standard. Obviously there are little issue that some may concern themselves with. I was highly impressed by Ung, the front desk person, who went to a lot of trouble to ensure my stay went smoothly. I also must include the breakfast staff, Nong Yao and her cooks. They must have thought I was under feed and keep the meal coming. They also helped and Old Man (me) to learn new technology in using "Grab" for transport and ensuring I knew where to go in search of my gift requirements. Always greeted on my return and gave studied evaluation of my gift to take home. It was more like a family situation for me, including the foyer dog, who also became a friend (I had snacks) I nearly forgot. There is a local "shop" about 200 m down the lane way. Lovely people and sold Beer (during allowed hours) at a more than reasonable price The smallest downside was the location. It is away from the major attraction, though the quiet, low traffic and the use of "Grab" made this, not worth a mention.

room staff pool restaurant wasn't serving food when we wanted it (dinner)

Exceptional

2 pools, great breakfast buffet with lots of options, staff were very friendly, adjoining rooms for our family, resort clean It's starting to look run down/weathered, a little too far away from things so always needed to take a taxi/grab

Helpful staff and good location for the train station.

It was once a well presented resort But lack of maintenance has taken the shine off. Staff were good ,location was ok for me as I had motorbike but a bit out of the centre of Chiang Mai. Nearby was a great little eatery on the main road heading away from town on left was very good European breakfast and at a good price. 7 eleven nearby local eateries at night everywhere. Just that it has not been fully maintained as it has a great concept with the timber and stone, big open dining area , you would think you were near a beach as it presents that way.

Misleading website, poor location in a ropey area. Swimming pool tasted unclean, hotel virtually empty. But staff couldn't have been nicer, I felt sorry for them and would go back in future just to see them.. Night bazaar in town were great, and tuktuks back to hotel brilliant! Chiang Mai looks a very interesting proposition for me in future to stay. Ropey hotel location, unfinished and tatty areas surrounding the hotel.
