If you are a solo traveler I wouldn’t recommend. There is no one in the reception at night. Entire building they switched off the lights.

Full breakfast not included, but there are several cafes nearby for breakfast. A delightful old building with a large common area with wooden tables and wicker chairs. Very helpful staff. Great location. No complaints.

En general the hotel is very cozy, a bit surprising at the beginning but aftert the 1st impression the place is nice, the staff is very polite and helpful One night there were some dogs barking, the security feels a bit weak, no actual door or gate to secure the facility

The style of the building, 40-50.. Need some refresh works. The cleaning lady was a + , compare to the rest of the team. Lovely person. Because of the over booking of the planes to Luang Prabang, I had to leave two days before the end of my reservation. They refuse to give me a discount or a credit for next year. This was my second stay in the hotel. I havre been here last year and this year for 3 weeks each time. So asking for a discount for two days seems to be quiet reasonable ! What to do, next year I will find a other place to stay.. And it’s not about the money, just about elegance..

The bath water was tepid, I probably should have asked to turn up the water heater. If you have a heart condition stay on a lower level.

Nothing, in all fairness the hotel did send me an email saying there was no lift and it was noisy because of the location and the road on Sunday being closed off for the night market Noisy all night no double glazing if your a light sleeper forget it. Only cold water in the hand basin Try shaving in cold water No shower Shower was hand held in the bath not even a hook to hang the shower head on Get out of the bath after showering the bottom of your feet were black before reaching the bathroom Breakfast was a choice of “American breakfast” don’t know what happened to a full English breakfast Even changing the language to English on anything has the American flag next to it most of them don’t even speak proper English Two pieces of toast scrambled egg And butter, choice of coffee or fruit juice Or you could have the healthy option Bird seed yogurt and a small amount of fruit in a small bowl with either coffee or tea not both

Everything was wonderful! Excellent value in this quaint and character-filled villa. Staff could not do enough for us from the moment we arrived until we left. Great common area for sitting reading or having a drink on the ground floor. Our rooms were on the 4th floor - no lift (fine for us) but rewarded with a quiet room and great view of the mountains. 10/10 recommend. Thank you! Juts to know there is no lift so you need to be OK with stairs.

Nice night Sunday market with live music. Nice coffee and bar at the hotel. Many different facilities like restaurants, bars, cultural and holy places around. I am very happy that that was the hotel I chose!

The height of the stair risers from the second to the third floor can hurt older people's knees.

Older quaint hotel, had food and a bar and live music on weekends. Felt they went out of the way to have happy customers as well. Great location as well. All was good.

I love older rustic properties like this. Amazing location. And, very comfortable and laid back place. Night duty manager was a boy who was very resourceful and proactive. During the day, staff was disappointingly bad at service. No help at all. Didn't care enough either. The place honestly needs upkeep. The room with the balcony is amazing but noisy. Needs sealed doors. Toilet was leaking but the boy during night duty was proactive in fixing it. Hand soap to tumblers to tea bags, everything had to be asked. Not sure why the room wasn't prepared in advance at all.
