DE ROSE Hotel Chiang Mai

Amazing host, extremely friendly and helpful. Had the best Thai breakfasts of all my 21 day travel at this place! Place is exceptionally clean and towels exchanged daily. Possibly the best price/value I've ever stayed.

Very clean and well maintained place. The staff were amazing — super kind, helpful, and welcoming. Had a great stay and felt comfortable the whole time You’ll probably need a vehicle to get around easily, but it’s very simple to use Grab or Bolt, so getting around isn’t a problem at all

The location does not have many walkable places to go shopping or sightseeing. You really need a car to get around.

Let me start off by saying this stay was truly one of the best and personalized stays I have had in Thailand. Before my stay, I was contacted by the hotel owner via the booking.com app (what I reserved my hotel room through) about three days before my reservation. I was thanked for my reservation and offered a ride to the hotel from my arrival point, however, since I was leaving from another hotel in Chiangmai, I did not need this service. I was also offered some tours at discounted rates which was very nice. There are cooking classes offered from a full day to half day classes. There are tours to Doi Suthep. Discounted Spa packages. Grand Canyon packages water park. Everything you could ever want. Fast forward to my arrival and I was greeted by Noy, the owner of the hotel. She is the KINDEST and SWEETEST person I have met! She immediately offered numerous things to do in the area such as visiting Chada Cafe (~a 4 min walk from the hotel) which I HIGHLY recommend, night markets, parks, spas, etc. You also receive a free/complimentary mango sticky rice when you arrive. One of my favorite things about this hotel was the fact that the TVs there have Netflix, YouTube, and prime video installed, unlike other hotels I have stayed at. The shower had excellent water pressure and water heaters. The rooms are extremely cozy and come with refrigerators. Fresh bananas were also offered that the hotel owner grows herself! And they were sooooooo good! I have also noticed that in Thailand, a lot of hotels (at least the ones I have stayed at) did not have a microwave to re-heat any leftover food I had. This was slightly annoying as I felt bad for having to continuously ask someone else to heat up my food, however I understand why this is. At one point I asked the owner if she could heat up my food and she did which I was thankful for. After, I asked if there was a place where I could heat my food myself and she offered to place a microwave in the common area. I loved everything!

Noi makes a huge difference in this hotel. Her support and help to whatever you would like to go or see is invaluable. She is a great listener and then she helps you to design and plan your best staying in the area. Besides that she is a great Chef and cook and breakfasts served are just unimaginable. She provides great Thai and traditional breakfast that were very delicious. The welcoming mango and sticky rice is just a signature dish!!!!! She gave us a farewell present that I never received in hundreds of hotels that I’ve been. Rooms are comfortable and clean and really well located. Anything. I left the hotel wanting to get back soon

Noi and staff are very friendly. Bed was comfortable, room was clean. Possibility to stay with a dog for additional 150 baht per night At least 20 minutes by car to the historical center, only 2 Thai restaurants for breakfast or dinner nearby. Rooms are small. No wardrobe in the room.

Ms. Noy, the proprietor, is a living angel. She will do everything possible to make your stay enjoyable. Everything was wonderful.

The host and breakfast are absolutely fantastic!! The place is convenient to the airport and a nature café.

Upon my arrival this hotel radiated positive vibes. Noy was very welcoming and accommodating. I had the most delicious mango sticky rice upon arrival. The hotel was very clean and had great AC in the room. The staff were lovely, kind, and helpful. I really felt like I was a part of their family while I was there. I can’t say enough good things about Noy. I ended up booking an additional night because I liked it so much. She speaks very good English and was more than helpful when it came to things to do around town and how to book experiences and transportation. The breakfast was delicious. I had the English breakfast the first morning and Thai breakfast the last two days. All the food was delicious and plentiful. The hotel is only 15 minutes from the center. I loved how quiet it was here in the convenience of a 711 close by as well as a lovely restaurant Chada Cafe. I would come back here anytime! Thank you Noy and staff!! The bed was hard at first but they kindly replaced the whole bed for me. I couldn’t believe it! So kind.

Lovely Staffs. Good decoration atmosphere. Have many brochures Chiangmai's tourist attraction. De Rose isn't a kind of hotel. It is similar like a guest house. Furthermore, The entrance to this hotel has any obstacles cause of during the construction site. (small road). The SUV and vans cannot enter there.

Noy is very nice and helpful. She prepare mango sticky rice for each of us upon arrival and introduce places to visit. My daughter woke up very late and she missed the breakfast time. Not especially prepare a set of to-go omelette for her. We will miss her mango sticky rice!

Noy was so kind and helpful. The entire staff was very kind and the food was excellent. The beds were a little hard and not enough shelf space in the bathroom for toiletries.

Friendly english speaking owner and can help arrange transport or tours to chaingmai's main attractions or spots. Family owned homestay situated in a quiet neighborhood not far from Chiang mai old town with spacious parking in the opposite land. Room was clean and cleaned every afternoon when you are out. Please message or call the hotel early if your flight arrival time is late night or early in the morning.

I had an exceptional stay at this hotel! Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary treat of delicious mango sticky rice. The hostess was friendly, offering a warm welcome and valuable assistance in organizing my trip to Chiang Rai. The facilities were clean, and the entire staff was consistently friendly. As a thoughtful gesture upon departure, I received delightful gifts for both myself and my family, along with some tasty croissants for breakfast. The experience was truly memorable, and I highly recommend this hotel for its warm hospitality and attention to detail.

Amazing host and great cute building. Super nice people. Short walking distance to 7-11. It'll be convenient to have a motorbike to get around. 10 to 15 r minutes ride to everywhere . Even some fresh fruit for me right after arrival. Highly satisfied. Can't really think of any.
