The AC produced noises off and on and I couldn’t stop it by adjusting the fan speed. Simply turned it off.

Good location. The bed was comfortable. The staff at the reception were nice and polite. The bathroom window doesn’t close, so I could hear a lot of noise from the busy road. The sink had beard hairs. It could be cleaner. Also I could hear all of the noise from the hallway and other rooms. It’s a bit annoying in the early morning and late night.

Good location and convenient. Noisy from people shutting the door or opening door as well as when people talking or taking a shower. We can hear everything.

Very clean and functional hotel. Love the free brewed espresso in the morning. I like that there are frozen Thai meals available for purchase inexpensively and microwave for heating them. Twice when I've checked in the A/C unit in my room had a problem. Every hour and a half it would turn off on its own. I had to restart every time. The hotel staff were unable to fix it so I changed rooms. Twice!!

I often stay at Hop Inns around Thailand as they're the only budget hotel, whether chain or independent, that offers consistency in design, cleanliness, service, and location. The spotless rooms always have good lighting, comfy beds, and a writing table (more like a very long banquette, plenty of room to spread out) with a chair where I can work. Checkin and checkout are way speedier than at the average hotel in Thailand. No surprises. I like the espresso machine available from 7am to 11am every morning, no charge. A freezer next to the machine offers basic frozen meals for sale at prices commensurate with 7-eleven. Lastly, all Hop Inns have large parking lots so there's never a worry about finding a place to park (which is a constant issue with most budget hotels in Thailand). The first room I checked into at this location had an air-con unit that was timed to turn itself off after an hour. It was impossible to cancel or re-program with the remote so I had to move to a different on the same floor. The staff should check the a/c remotes regularly for issues like this. Then again, many low-cost hotels in Thailand have remotes that barely function at all.
