The rooms are smaller, but all older Chicago buildings are like that. The elevator was out for our trip but they offered the service elevator. The stairs are just fine if you are able to do them. Great location and room. Would stay again.

The elevator was broken. Mold in the bathrooms!
-
Rooms are small but thats to be expected. Hotel is currently under construction
-
Staff was very courteous but for $200 a night you can afford to give travelers a free bottle of water!

I didn’t like the bathroom. No privacy for toilet if someone is taking shower or using sink. Also no magnifying mirror. Pillows too flat. Look at above answer

Had a wonderful time staying here for one night. The room was nice and spacious, besides the bathroom which was a little cramped. I was on the top floor and unfortunately the elevator was out so I had to use the stairs but it wasn't bad. If definitely recommend this hotel

The hotel hallways smelled like smoke ..the room was great and clean ..the pub was great ..elevator was broken ..3 stars
-
Everything was coo but beware of a deposit you gotta pay too in addition to the booking… it was $75 for me … a decent gym too for those that lift

Location, it was walking distance from Wrigley Field. There was only 1 bed, I was staying with my daughter. No microwave, no refregirater,, no breakfast. Water was 3 dollars a bottle.

I liked the location and the decor of the hotel. The elevator was down which would’ve been nice to know before arrival or if they’d offered to discount our stay a bit for the inconvenience of having to walk up/down four flights of stairs every time we came and went.

The renovations don’t seem to be moving at a very good speed. The bedding and overall cleanliness of our room was great but the carpet near the walls is shredding and stringy. The bathtub and shower didn’t work well at all. Almost all the staff we encountered were very nice and had upbeat attitudes aside from one. Lack of a working regular elevator was a bit of a nuisance but since we only had to go up one flight it wasn’t too bad. Overall would stay here again when the renovations are completely done and everything is in working order.

the hotel is undergoing a lot of renovatios. Expect things are going to take a while

To pay $250 a night for a room that doesn’t even have a mini fridge or microwave. There was construction that started bright and early right down the hall and the only elevator was out. It would’ve been nice to know before hand.

Good location. Comfortable bed. Elevator wasn't working. Room was a little "tired." I thought it was pretty pricey, but didn't realize it was Lalapalooza weekend, so it makes sense.

The elevator was broken all week. I had to climb flights of stairs constantly to get to my room and back. I was staying for over a week and they told me I get two bottles of water for the whole stay. Any other bottle of water was a charge. The wifi was so bad that if I wanted to do a meeting online I had to go to the lobby. The hotel has potential, looks nice in the lobby and the room is decent but they need to work on infrastructure and customer service. If I had to stay there again, I would but only if every other place was booked on that side of town.

If it wasn’t for the fantastic staff & super nice shower pressure/temperature I would have left. Came in for a move in visit to help college son, first issue was the facility has ZERO Parking. Zero!! You have to park offsite in the parking garage from hell 2-3 blocks away. Second issue, computers were down, so couldn’t check in, ok, free beers in the bar (who am I to say no), second rooms ready on 3rd floor, but elevators are inop, so you can ride with staff in service elevators, or walk up the steep af stairs (I have a bum knee, so I was at strike 3&1/2. No other option for my 4 night stay, so here I stay…Construction has really bogged this spot down, but staff do all they can to overcome. I must give them props, but after 3 false fire alarms on the last night/AM, I will NOT be returning.
