Great location, very helpful staff, clean rooms

The room was clean and was good enough for a one night stay in Chicago. The valet parking was a bit expensive and was a little confusing of where to stop and check in because there are multiple businesses with valet in the area. They tack on a service fee to the already $80 overnight parking so it is well over $100 to park per night. The elevator was very slow, and the venting system makes a terrible sound to open and close when you turn on the bathroom light. I understand it’s necessary to keep the bathroom moisture down, but just seems like there has to be a quieter way to do this. They at least provide a dimmable night light so you don’t have to turn the light and venting on in the bathroom if using the bathroom overnight. Overall, we would stay here again now that we know the drill for valet as the room was clean and valet was quick to get our car back to us. There are just a few things that would make the stay even better.

Good location. You can be in various landmarks within 10-20 minutes walking. Very polite staff. The breakfast was decent. The cost for the on site parking was too high ($80 per day). We used the Spot hero app and found much better price in a nearby garage for the 4 days of stay.

Upper nice and reasonably priced.

Pay close attention to FEEs!! They charge you a nightly service fee (not called out anywhere!) $35 a day and they said it’s for breakfast and happy hour, regardless if you participate in it or not!! Will never stay again and have filed with my credit card company.

Overall a nice stay and clean hotel. The desk staff were all very nice. However it would be nice if they had a water fill station.

Had a fantastic time with my wife, the continental breakfast was fantastic. as well as the room! Definitely coming back!

I specifically asked hotel receptionist to charge my room to my credit card at check in. They said that will work so I inserted my credit card into their payment machine of $800. Later that day I checked my bank account and they charged me 1000. So 1800 was charged for a 2 night stay at 699. Mistakes happen but now I have to wait several days to get reimbursed into my banking account and the hotel didn't offer anything for this mistake.

It’s a very decent hotel, close to everything around Chicago downtown. Excellent choice and affordable.

The rooms were very spacious, especially the bathrooms, which were one of the best features of the hotel. The biggest downside was the noise at night. Depending on where your room is located, you may hear very loud music from a nearby nightclub until around 2:00 a.m., which made it difficult to sleep. Earplugs would definitely help. The continental breakfast was disappointing. Also, on Sunday mornings, the breakfast and coffee area doesn't open until 7:00 a.m., and there aren't any nearby coffee shops open earlier, so early risers should plan accordingly. There are no microwaves in the rooms, but there are shared microwaves in the lobby and on the sixth floor. The gym was well-equipped and not crowded during my visit. Overall, I would have rated this hotel much higher if it weren't for the late-night noise. The spacious rooms were a big plus, but I'm not sure I would stay here again because of the noise.
