Good: price, parking, a/c and heat worked great (no bad smell in ac, pretty new unit), check-in was easy and friendly, refrigerator worked and was clean, coffee maker worked, nice shower, tv worked, spacious room. Rooms are suite style, meaning there’s a locked door that leads to four rooms with their own lock. I’m putting this as good because it’s a layer of safety. Staff was generous when I asked for extra towels and coffee. They also granted me an extra hour for late checkout without paying extra. Bad: general low end motel stuff. First thing I saw when I entered the room was a roach. Paper thin walls so I could hear everything the neighbors were doing and this place attracts people who stay up late and are loud. The suite door is EXTREMELY loud and people go in and out constantly all night long. I would speculate that a second level room might be quieter since it’s further from the suite door. A lot of guests did not close the suite door behind them so the door stayed unlocked at times. My bed had a strong smell of human body odor, which I determined was in the mattress and not the bedsheets which appeared to be clean. I slept on the other side of the bed and that smelled ok.

The staff was friendly and very helpful.

I recently had to get a new credit card due to fraud on my account. I had booked at Rodeway with the previous card, so weeks later when it was time for them to run the card, it was rejected. Instead of calling me to alleviate the issue, they canceled me with zero notification. I tried to check in very late at night and they had no rooms available and did not honor my reservation. This made for a very stressful, midnight contingency planning. The staff was neither sympathetic nor helpful.

Upon arrival, we found lots of dirty and bloody tissues behind the cabinet and fridge. When asked to change rooms, the front desk associate advised it was too late and we would have to speak with a manager the next morning. There was a lot of noise coming from the rooms next to us and below us. We spoke to the manager the next morning and showed him the photos of the unsanitary conditions of the room. He was apologetic. I demanded an early check out and a refund for my 2-night stay. He advised that I contact Expedia to start the refund process, as he couldn’t refund me on the spot. I am disappointed with the less than satisfactory conditions of the room and the service, to say the least. Hoping Expedia can rectify the situation for me and issue the refund.

Absolutely nothing if im being honest. Rooms smelled bathroom and walls had stains or cracks in them. Beds were extremely hard sheets and covers were thin as paper. It was so bad we checked out at 6 am

The staff were not helpful at all. The noisiest hotel I ever stayed in. No one was that noisy. It's just the hotel itself. The way it is laid out. There's a staircase beside each room?

Ok

Nothing They didn't specify that I have to be 21.to check in, I assumed I was fine since I was over 18, didn't let me check in at all
-
So the fact I have to be buzzed into the lobby makes me feel unsafe with the area it's located in. Then the staff was very unfriendly. No one seemed to smile. I killed a cockroach on the 1st night. No body wash and a tiny bottle for shampoo. King size bed and only 2 pillows and they were the thinnest ever.

Very creaking floor, and thin walls, it's impossible to get enough sleep
