Very nice hotel
-
all the way to the 5 floor

Bed bugs, no working furnace we were freezing in our room, and the room smelled very odd.
-
Views were amazing on the water with a bonus fireworks show. Thanks Sable!

Wonderful hotel for the best Chicago Experience! Great front desk staff, close to everything. We booked two queens but they had a king corner unit available so we checked in early before 11am instead. They brought a rollaway bed for our daughter which was awesome. We never tried that before but will some moving forward! Navy Pier was awesome and this was the only hotel on that island. Very easy to walk everywhere within 1.5 miles and go back and forth to your room as needed. So cool. Stay here, it’s worth the extra money!

For a $500 a night hotel the amenities were pretty sad. No glassware in the room for beverages, the in room coffee was terrible, and I asked for a toiletries bag (because my luggage was lost) and they gave me some toothpaste and a shave kit... not much help there. The biggest issue was the room service.... no plates or silverware, just a to go box with plastic cups, forks and knives and cold eggs and soggy bacon. For a company that claims to be eco-friendly everything was wrapped in plastic, served in plastic, etc. Not a 5 star experience at all..and in the heart of Chicago!! The whole experience was 2 star at best... will not stay here again.

The hotel and location are beautiful but there needs to be much clearer signage as to where the entrance of the hotel is and the main lobby. Extremely confusing to travellers.

You had to pay extra for the amenities like wifi and parking. Parking is outrageous while staying at the Pier, $60+ a day, $57 after 4 hours of parking. The elevators were out in our building so we had to carry our heavy bags up to the 3rd floor. The only thing I'd say that stuck out that were good was the location and the view from our room was nice.

The hype was well deserved, the view from my room was amazing. I laid in the windows and enjoyed the view. Amazing. It was clean and quiet. A bit pricey but worth it

We stayed in a corner room, and for the price we paid, we expected much better. The furniture was worn out and in poor condition, which was disappointing. The staff was rude, unhelpful, and lacked consideration for guests. To make matters worse, we were charged for items and services that were advertised as complimentary. Overall, the experience did not match the cost, and I would not recommend staying here.
-
Elevators to the room not available. Made it very difficult to use the hotel facilities much less getting to my room on the 6th floor. Hotel management did not offer and concessions - not even a bottle of water!

Great location
-
When elevators are out of service for over a week, this should be communicated to guest prior to their arrival.

The hotel was overall good. It could be better identified outside for ease of locating where to go. Inside wasn’t too easy to find your way but once figured out, it wasn’t too bad. Online amenities needs corrected. There is no spa/message available.
