A lot of junk fees parking horrible so valet 89 dollars a night hotel was clean but the area was not good for downtown homeless people everywhere restaurants close at 9 pm on weekends and traffic so bad u have to uber everywhere and valet I booked this room for 2 days for a concert wanted the best but was not the best location for 750 for 2 nights everywhere we went we had to uber their and back

Wonderful gem in downtown Chicago

We came down for one night and this hotel did just what it needed to know at a great price!

Great hotel front desk very nice and informative close walking distance to public transportation and stores. If you don’t valet parking garages 1-2 blocks away for self parking.

Bar closed too early at 10am Great location- our room was away from train noise

In need of a remodel. The room smelled like old cigarrettes.

Nice hotel hotel but coffee makers in room did not work and it was for expresso size coffee. The hotel didn’t offer coffee until 7am, bed wasn’t very comfortable. Staff was very nice and pleasant.

George who waited on me at breakfast is a gem. What a lovely man and a credit to the hotel. Lobby and reception are very modern and nice. Rooms are dated with old furniture and VERY dark. No decent lighting and you need a lot of strength just to open or close curtains. Location is fabulous.

It’s an older hotel; the Lobby and the restaurant were unique and inviting. The food was very good. The room I was put in was small but very clean; the toilet developed issues that I brought up twice with management, but was not resolved by the time I left.

I had an excellent stay at Silversmith. The front desk staff was fantastic, the rooms were clean and very unique, and the location of the hotel was second to none. I highly recommend Silversmith!

The room is huge, not sure why they don't move the bed to where the sofa and TV are. . It would at least make you 60 feet from the train instead of 50.

Excellent hotel located in the heart of the theater district abd jewelers row and so close to the beautiful parks. The staff was amazing, special shout out to Susan who graciously corrected a room discrepancy with the highest customer care. Highly recommend this hotel. We will be back.
