Super 8 by Wyndham Chicago IL

A nice hotel near the beach in Roger park. Free parking and breakfast was a plus. The staff were very nice and let us park a little longer while we spent some more time at the beach. We’ll certainly stay here again when we come back to Chicago.

My husband and I came from NJ to see Cubs and White Sox play. This hotel was in very convenient location and reasonably priced. Room was very clean and free parking was included. Staff was super accommodating and let us check in early. Highly recommend.

Exceptional

This “no frills” stay is perfect for visiting my son at Loyola. It’s a great price, you get a parking spot, & it’s well maintained. The staff is friendly, the room is clean, & they have continental brekky from 6-9am that includes bagels/toast, fruit, yogurt, cereals, juices, oatmeal, coffee, & you can make your own pancakes if you choose. The location is perfect. There’s a pizza spot & a brekky spot w/in walking distance.

Safe, easy parking, clear instructions. Rooms have easy to clean surfaces. Bathroom (esp shower) was not as thoroughly cleaned as I would have hoped... remnants of shaving in the soap area and along the edges. I just pretended it was a campground shower. Also, plenty of towels but the blankets were thin and no extras provided in the room. I am sure I could have called for some, but it was the middle of the night when I was cold so I didn't want to.

I liked the location. I didn’t like that you cannot bring guests to a hotel. If I had known that, I would have not booked. Terrible policy.

I arrived in the later afternoon and was very courteously and efficiently assisted by the evening staff. I was also impressed with the overall cleanliness of the room and the hotel generally. Plus having covered, overnight parking was greatly appreciated!

There were 2 beds. One bed had some dirt when I turned down the sheets which was disturbing. The other bed was fine. Since I was alone I did not report this, however if I had a second person with me I would have requested housekeeping. The rest of the room was clean and do was the bathroom.

The entire lobby area needs to be cleaner. The entire lobby area should look and smell cleaner.

The facilities are amazing, the rooms, bathroom and beds are really big. The breakfast offers a good variety of choices so we always left satisfied to explore the city. There's a CTA bus station just in front of the hotel and the CTA Jarvis train station just 9 min walking. The area is silent so you get a good rest. The staff is super kind, an exceptional group of people always helping us and receiving us with a smile, it was our first time in the USA so we had a lot of questions and they answered each one and recommended places to visit or were to eat, making the stay feel more like visiting family or friends. Nothing really comes to mind, really a great place, hope they have more locations.
