As an aside booked two room other one for my daughter and family. Rooms were small and much less than special. as my kids say “OVERRATED “
-
Was a great experience. Did smell like cigarettes.
-
Loved the bar downstairs

The Drake is a wonderful hotel. Staff were nice. The tub in the room next to us overflowed and flooded into our room. The smell of old cigarettes as very strong. And having to listen to fans was annoying. We were told we’d get a partial refund that they did put on our credit card but was then taken back by the hotel. ???

Old school charm and the staff was the same. Very classy joint.

The hotel was wonderful and centrally located making getting around the city easy.

Nice downtown hotel

I have long loved this place. Sadly, they are hurting. Towels were so thin! Bathroom not fully cleaned.
-
Great location. Rooms are quite large but tired. Gym is an afterthought. The entire food and beverage offering needs a rethink.

The hotel was nice, the location is amazing, however, if u don’t appear to dress or look a certain way, like u have money, the front door people and staff look at you a certain way, in my case cause of my tattoos all over my body! Never once did anyone greet me or talk to me, aside from getting the keys at check in! the valet people in the front, especially as i waited for uber, never acknowledged me or asked me if i needed a taxi or anything, they would just stare as if why was i waiting in the same area

Absolutely stunning hotel with super attentive staff. Stay away from the Cafe on Oak restaurant though....abysmal service and oblivious wait staff.
-
Great location beautiful old hotel with a lot of history and a cast of characters who work there. Had a great visit, great proximity to Oak St. Beach.
-
Breakfast & location was great! Great room size & location The room definitely could have been colder/cooler Ceiling fan would’ve been awesome
-
perfect location dogs running in the lobby

The bathroom was not cleaned well. There was an old co tact stuck to the floor. Also, the bathtub did not drain well.
