Everything was great - just wished their indoor pool was open

Room was very big and very clean. Staff was friendly and quick to check us in. Didn't get a chance to try the breakfast but it smelled great. Will definitely be back here next time we are in chico.

Clean room

When we checked in, our bath tub looked like someone had just showered after working on a diesel engine. They said it was the "hard water" in Chico and sent someone to clean it. It looked better but not great. They did give us two complimentary breakfast coupons for the dirty bathroom which I found nice, especially since we didn't ask.

Our main complaint about this hotel is that their pool was being renovated during our stay. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was that they had a pool. When we complained about this through Hotels.com customer service, the first few times, they tried to cancel the reservation entirely. I told them not to since we were checked in already. They also mentioned that the site says the pool is closed for reservation. I didn't see that on the Hotels.com site and you can still search for hotels with pools in Chico and this hotel will show up. The third time I contacted Hotels.com about this, they said they would put in a request to have part of the room refunded. It's been 6 days since the stay and we haven't heard anything. Aside from this, no major issues with the room. Fridge runs very cold - it actually froze some of items that we wouldn't normally freeze, like our fruit. I got back to the hotel at around 10 and got the very last parking spot. There was someone in a truck just hanging out in one of the EV charging spots (in a non EV vehicle) playing music loudly on their radio. That was a bit sketch. Didn't see any amenities besides the room itself. Since we didn't have a pool, we went out and found a few things to do. It's close to Costco and a roller rink that also has batting cages and mini-golf.

Typical clean Marriott but not upscale courtyard.

Our plans changed and we needed to cancel. We wrote several times and called and got no reply. We offered to take a credit as stay at Courtyards often. We are still waiting to hear from anyone at the hotel, even after missing the booking. Incredibly poor service.

We stayed in Chico during a 2 week road trip in Northern California. Our room was perfect for what we needed, a nice sofa to lounge and watch some TV shows, good WiFi connection, spacious bathroom, clean and cozy bed, and blackout shades. We were a bit hungry and the cafe provided options we found appealing and tasty for dinner. Recommend the location as it is close to major retailers in case you need to resupply.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable andthe staff friendly breakfast choices too limited and food service spotty
-
Very clean and everyone was help fun
-
Room was a bit noisy. Could near elevator running and we were not next to it. People above us were loudly walking back and forth
-
The night clerk was rude and short with me while checking in.
-
Friendly staff. Older decor in room, bathtub seemed old/stained. Check-in was smooth and allowed for late checkout. But breakfast pastries should be included for the graduation rate we paid.

Great coffee bar

The room was clean, tidy, and smelled clean upon arrival. Bed was comfortable, in-room whirlpool was clean and inviting. Spacious bathroom and room. The pool and hot tub were unavailable and closed for maintenance, NOTHING ONLINE indicated that these amenities/ facilities WERE NON FUNCTIONING/ INOPERABLE/ CLOSED! IT'S 04/23/2026.. THERE'S NO free breakfast. I personally do not believe they should be charging over $210/ night for no pool & hot tub, no breakfast especially due to the fact that THERE'S NO WAY TO KNOW WHEN BOOKING IN ADVANCE that the most desired facilities/ amenities Aren't functioning or available to paying guests!
