Hampton Inn & Suites Chico

Check in staff/counter staff very friendly and helpful. Clean rooms and free breakfast. Great place to stay. Second time here and will be back - as my daughter goes to Chico State I will be traveling here often.

Room was nice grounds were nice The power outage for 2hrs between 6pm and 835pm just when we got back from dinner no lights in the room at all.. no back up.power.. and when checking out to ask front desk about compensation for the outage. The front desk lady was rude and said it happens all the time. I explained to her there was no signage to reflect that. She reluctantly agreed to discount my stay by 20%..which inhavent recieved yet. Also, my deposit as of today (8/18/26) has not been returned.

Hotel was clean and check in was quick. No loud noises or bad smells.

Loved having shower with no tub!! Breakfast was great!! My only complaint would be that the toilet in the room sits so low. Just because of knee and hip problems.

Clean and spacious room, clean bathroom, comfortable bed and pillows. Decent breakfast for an American hotel. We ate dinner at the Sierra Nevada Brewery Restaurant.

It was clean and close to the highway. It’s also the closest hotel we could find to the Sierra Nevada brewery! The indoor pool was heavily chlorinated

The location was great! Walking distance from the wall and restaurants. That there was only one chair in the room. There should always be pairs.

We had a short stay got in late left early sent 14-year-old daughter down to get a toothbrush as we forgot ours and they would not give her a toothbrush said she had to be 15 years old they also did not offer to bring the toothbrush up to the room so after a long day and getting settled in had to get out of bed and go down to the lobby to get a toothbrush for the daughter. Kind of frustrating but other than that the room was fine we didn't use the pool or any other amenities.

We were there for a Little League Stste Tournament and I know it was hectic with 12 boys and families, but the staff was kind to us. They gave us extra towels for the pool, when asked. And for our room, as needed. It was a great place to stay and withing walking distance of the mall. Several places to eat close by, as well as Winco and other stores. Costco was a few minutes drive. Downtown 10 minutes away, as well as the Amtrak station. Great property, ease of check-in and check-out.
