Daffodil Motel

Staff were very friendly and helpful, unit was comfortable and roomy. There was a mop in the disabled access shower that I'm guessing was forgotten about by the cleaner. Other than that, all good.

Motel was perfect for a few nights away. We could walk to Hagley Park, or Riccarton Mall My bed was ok but after 3 nights my back was a bit sore from it being so soft.

We really enjoyed our stay. We were kindly upgraded to a room with a garden area. Unfortunately, it was too cold to use, but we really appreciated the upgrade-thank you! The room was warm and had everything we needed. The heat pump worked really well, keeping the room nice and cosy. The shower was excellent, with plenty of hot water and great water pressure. Overall, we had a very comfortable stay and would happily stay here again. walk distance to the CBD

bathroom was aged and needs complete revamp . exhaust was too small and during shower the bathroom will get wet on all walls . no switch to turn off the exhaust fan. none of the doors including for toilet had any locking arrangement so it was really awkaward.

Good location. We got upgraded. Bed was very comfortable. Clean room. Spacious enough. Friendly staff. On of first night (Saturday) a group of people were partying with music until at least midnight. The whole time we were there the wifi was absolutely awful. (Might work better for the room on ground floor tho.)

There’s not much to say except everything was number one. I would most definitely recommend this place. The value was phenomenal. The place was super clean super, comfortable. It just don’t get much better than that. Nothing

Excellent friendly reception. Staff were brilliant. Location perfect for requirements. Facilities ok. Main bed felt too short and I am only 6ft. Facilities on the older side but attempts have been made to freshen up the look.

nice and tidy place to spend the night

Heating was great and being able to access Netflix easily. Thanks for a great stay - the place smelt clean and amazing when we first walked in, and plenty of tea and coffee to snack on! Thanks again :-) The only thing was there was a lot of condensation on the windows in the morning. I imagine that the windows etc are single glazing... Just like our home ;-) I didn't check out the breakfast as I didn't really know how to go about this, so maybe some info on how to order breakfast in the morning would be helpful.

Was a quiet place to stay and conveniently nearby to the hospital appointments my husband attended The facility though clean did show that is was getting older and needed upgrading. The bathroom facilities especially.

Excellent location, budget accomodation was clean, comfortable, effective heat pump and helpful friendly staff. Nothing to not like.

Comfortable for an overnight stay, close to restaurants, clean

The location is great - 10 min walk to a lively restaurant/shop area and a 10 min walk to a large park with kids playground. 35 min walk through the park to the touristy centre and hop-on hop-off tram. City bus stop is a half a block away. Very convenient.

Hotel was neat and clean. Staff wD helpful and friendly. Located very well for airport access. Best to drive into town, which is friendly to driving and parking. A little far from town for walking into town.
