everything but the tech The tv/instructions were hard to navigate. wifi was slow to load. couldnt even cast from phone
-
Good location, bus stop right in front of the lodge or car park in front of the room

Handy to garage and bars on Riccarton Road. Ground floor was good. Beds were uncomfortable. Limited cooking equipment. No fan for cooking. Hard to fet rid of smells. Only one flannel for two people. TV ws difficult to use as you had to use your own phone apps for Sky etc.

Owners very friendly and sorted a minor problem very quickly, which is good. Very central, easy walk to park and town centre, quiet location, easy to find

Mattress was very soft Bothered my back

Amazing location, easy check in & car parking and super close to Hadley Park/ restaurants all in walking distance. Having stayed at several other 4 star motels this one was far below the others. It would be on par with a 3 star in my opinion. We were given a downstairs room it was smaller than most rooms, and beds pushed up against doorways. Couch was old and very well used. Kettle did not work had to hold your finger on the down button. It was very dark n closed in. The units above had really bad noise from toilets/ running water/ walking around. I personally would choose elsewhere next time I visit Christchurch.

Good location, but everything else was worst than bad Dirty, unclean unit, dried urine on toilet seat, filthy hand basin & shower, filth along edges of floors & under bed also what appeared to be dried blood on pillow case. Social Housing tenants next door who sat outside smoking so we could not open windows to get rid of the smell inside. We have stayed in motel via Booking.com though out NZ as well as in Aussy & in Europe but this was the worst place have ever seen. Spoke to staff & showed them the filth and were told there was nothing wrong with it, they did offer another unit but when checked it was just as filthy. We left without staying and lost the money we had paid for 6 nights. Staff refused to refund us stating it had to be done via Booking.com but Booking.com just said they could not assist as motel refused to refund. Highly recommend no one attempt to stay at this fitly pigsty & do not book via Booking.com as they are useless at helping sort out when there is a problem.

Close to Hagley park and dairy over the road were handy. In need of serious renovations. Rooms had a strong smell and were not well maintained or cleaned.

After being checked in after 9pm in our first room, the room felt that it wasn't very secure as the slide lock had been installed incorrectly. We were then rung the next day while we were out and told they had booked our room out to someone else and needed to shift our stuff to another room. I agreed at the time but we weren't given an explanation as to how or why this happened. The room we were moved into had a window that did not close properly, was smaller than our original room, had hair at the top of the shower curtain rail and to top if off the lightbulb above my bed was burned and had what looked to be blood on it. Overall we were very disappointed, and will not be coming back.
