Golden Hotel

Nothing was wonderful.

It was easy to find. The Receptionist was friendly and kind. Her instructions were accurate. The room was pretty, it was clean and spacious. Super bathroom that was quite luxurious. I cannot think of anything I did not like.

I made the right choice to change my previous booking to this hotel. Location wise is really close to westfield shopping mall. So its really convenient whereby you can find kmart, pack n save etc. All is good

Super clean with free parking and free laundry. Near by to all attractions.

Clean and had everything we needed The range hood protrudes out to far and you can hit your head on it.

This is the third time staying here. Location is good, as well as the facilities provided in room.

Room was comfortable. Shower was very good. We had a nice stay despite the wrong room type.. When we checked in, we were given room keys and we went to our room. We had booked a Deluxe King, but the room they gave us was two Queens. I went back to the check in and explained that I had booded a King room. She said that they didn't have a King so they "upgraded us for free" to the double Queen. We didn't see it as an upgrade. Can be a little dicey getting in and out of parking lot at busy times.

Extremely clean. Nice room and lovely bathroom. The breakfast by reception was EXCELLENT!! I would definitely stay here for the food alone. Right next to the hotel is a yummy eatery upstairs. The vent in the bathroom was noisy at night and unable to stop the fan from turning. It was a windy night though.

Felt newly renovated! Free parking, just note that it is first come first serve. They have parking spaces both front and back of the building. Can’t think of anything.

The location was in an industrial area, although it was in walking distance to the River Market and other nice areas. It is a very engaging part of town. We were able to make this booking after the previous one did not have a room for us. There was a stain on the carpet. Getting in was a bit confusing at first. We got an upgrade to include a "sky window" which was small, but lessened the feelings of claustrophobia in the small room.

Good location. Lots of restaurants nearby. Close to the airport. No one was at the reception when we arrived, however there was a sign says to call a local number, but since we are not from New Zealand so none of our phone can make international calls. Fortunately the people from the cafe lend us a landline to make the call. I would suggest for the convenience of the foreign travelers, the management can put an internal landline at the reception, so people can use it when they arrived.
