The Motel was in Riccarton close for shopping & restaurants. There was a little bit of rubbish left outside rooms, it could do with a sweep.

Location close to riccarton mall. Advertised as a two bedroom apartment with spa bath. Even when checking in they mentioned it. Tried to get it to work the first night and it's not working. Went to ask reception the next day when it was open, pressed the buzzer waited 10 mins and pressed again. No one came out, and it was definitely during opening hours. I tried to message the place through booking (as I have had good responses from other hotels before through booking messaging) and also no response. The next day I went into the office and waited a bit then pressed the buzzer. After a while someone came out and I asked how we can get the spa bath running and they said they don't have spa baths at their motel. I said there is a spa bath in our room and she said they are just normal baths, and something happened with people not filling it up enough and turning them on so they aren't allowed to use them as per council restrictions. This is false advertising, and needs to be taken off the listing. Not a very clean place and uncomfortable beds. Definitely not worth the money. Also concerning that we can't get ahold of them for a whole day. Also left their sign saying they have vacancy overnight when the office was left unnatended/closed, which I'm also sure they aren't meant to do.

Location. Had a washing machine Room was not clean, beds were horribly uncomfortable, couch was caved in, the table was a glass outside table so was not great for children. Dryer did not work so could wash washing but not dry. Shower temperature never stayed the same and the bath did not work. Blinds were all broken so lots of light from the street coming in. Had cooking facilities however only a bread knife?
