Location and cleanliness. Was quiet. Having a credit card demanded when it was prepaid. We never ate in the motel. Were hardly there as attended an event. Eventually accepted I was not going to write down my credit card details on a piece of sign in paper and gave car rego number. Details could have been tracked back to the original booking. A little bit mean with only 4 little milk capsules in fridge.

Friendly staff, great location, excellent price. The ventilation in bathrooms and restriction on cooking is an unfortunate issue.

This is my second time staying here so that speaks for itself. Stayed a whole week previously, this time a shorter stay- 3 nights. The owners who run the motel are very warm, helpful and hospitable. My room opened up to a private courtyard. It's very peaceful, and the bed is very comfortable. The kitchenette is stocked with the basic essentials, and the room is impeccably clean, well maintained with housekeeping stopping by daily. Highly recommend, in a heartbeat.

Friendly staff, spotless room, quiet guests. The obligations around cooking with windows open, not letting steam out of the shower. It's not pleasant to be constantly worried about setting off a fire alarm just for completing ordinary/essential tasks. Wifi was weak.

They made parking space for our lengthy trailer. The unit was very comfortable and spotless. We will definitely stay here whenever we're back in christchurch
