I slept well once the room warmed up. I was pleased they provided milk after I said I would have to go find a shop. I was pleased I could turn a heater on to warm the very cold room. The room could have been warmed before I got there and the milk provided without asking. The "free" internet was not offered to me. The power points beside the bed did not work.

Happy we had a downstairs unit. Unexpectably quiet despite being on a main road. Very comfortable bed. Good value for money. Good location.

It is true that there was a slight discount offered, I was genuinely surprised by the poor condition of the room. Upon entering, the first thing I noticed was a strong odor resembling an old, worn carpet and washbasin. You can understand that what I saw there if you look at the pictures given here. Many of the basic amenities they mentioned are not there. I found duster instead of hair dryer. The microwave was old. We need more logical power to use that. It is difficult to understand how a room in such condition is being rented for approximately $200 per day in a city like Christchurch. These rooms valued only $80 or $100 per day to rent. I understand that the primary focus is only financial gain rather than ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of customers. The issues observed included broken plate, damaged switchboard, broken windows, and a lack of proper air extraction facilities. These are fundamental concerns that significantly impact the comfort and safety of guests. I have nothing more to say. Hey landlord, only reply if you have the attitude to justify any bad things.

It's close to where I need to go and not too much noise. Also the room is enough for my needs. The parking space is not enough especially when all the rooms are used.

Great location. We were given a room towards the back so weren't too bothered by the busy road. We arrived at midnight. The manager stayed up to give us our key. He was obviously tired when we arrived, but was still friendly and polite. He also pre-heated our room for us. A big thank you to him for the above. I really appreciated this. There were a few plugs in the unit that didn't seem to be working. Luckily there were a number of plugs, so this wasn't too big of an issue

The location was great! Very close to the centre of town (walking distance to Cathedral Square) & Margaret Mahy park. Also close to major roads, so it was easy to get to where we needed to. Rooms were quiet & peaceful. Rooms were neat & tidy & staff were very willing to assist when I was unable to get the hot plate working. Rooms needed some upkeep, like fixing towel rail, painting over treated mould in shower & cleaning of some upholstery, but were otherwise tidy. Be aware that hosts expect guests to wash & put away all dishes before leaving (we only found this out by a chance comment & have never come across this before). A liner in the kitchen bin would also be helpful.

Walking distance straight into the middle of town - or catch a bus nearby for a quick bus ride. The owners were friendly and helpful. Cooking our own food in the self-contained room was great. It suited our needs and was good value for money.
