We travelled as 3 generations (6 adults and 3 young children) spending 6 nights in 3 apartments. The self contained accommodation was perfect with everything required for a perfect stay provided, we could not have wished for anything more. Location, beds, parking, quietness, size etc all boxes were ticked. Highly recommend for a family stay. Nothing

It is a very charming place. The moment you are out from the car, you can smell the roses, literally! The room is well designed, clean, very practical yet "warm" Bed is very comfortable. Excellent communication. We definitely will stay there again if we are back to Christchurch. That we only stay for one night!

Location was excellent, within easy walking distance of city and eateries. Beautifully presented room with comfortable bed, great shower, well-lit bathroom, small kitchen area and comfortable sitting area.

Property was impeccably maintained and stocked with tea/coffee and biscuits. Free onsite parking was useful to us. Host Ed gave us a map and a walkthrough of the neighborhood when we arrived. We ended up taking several of his suggestions - the tram, walking to nearby shops and restaurants. Huge green spaces within walking distance Papanui street was quite noisy at night and our studio was the closest to the street. Laundry is rather expensive so we did not avail.

Request a room away from the road.

Our room was very clean and was nicely appointed. It had everything we needed for our stay. Close to anything you would need i.e. coffee shop, excellent market and mall all just down the street within walking distance. Lots of dining options in walking distance too. On a busy street, so on week days when schools in the area let out the road is very busy and slow to navigate.

Ed, in the office, was very friendly and accommodating. The room was adorable. I appreciated the extra touches like the cheese, crackers, and cookies. There was a very bright light that shone through the bathroom window, and the room freshener was a little too strong, but I would definitely stay there again.

Everything! The motel was so cute and clean and the owners were AMAZING!!! Our room was wonderful and super clean. Could not ask for more. You should stay there. Highly recommend.

The place was anointed very nicely. Ed at the front desk when above and beyond . We stayed at an adjacent hotel the week before and the Milan was far superior. Will stay there again. No complaints

The Milano was very comfortable and well appointed with many small details from the decorations to placement of luggage carriers and bathroom was roomy. Nothing I enjoyed our stay.

Everything was very clean and really recent (appliances, etc). The owner went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. We really appreciated the hospitality and had a great stay.
