Junior suite was very comfortable. Power sockets were well placed with a proper sized desk for the computer and to work. Good heating / air conditioning control and easy to use. The team at the George were attentive & helpful. Being a boutique hotel and smaller is an advantage for the guest. The quality of the coffee in the restaurant was very good - sampled many times during the visit. The hotel was well cared for and rooms kept clean to a high standard. The George Bear was a lovely addition. Nothing, would happily return to this very comfortable small hotel by the park.

Love the ease of on site parking. The beds are super comfy and the staff are lovely. It’s also great having a restaurant on site. And George bear is such a cute touch. As a solo traveller, I feel safe here. There were a few stray hairs on the tiles and door in the bathroom this visit. Unusual as their standards are usually so high.

Great location near the CBD if Christchurch. We loved coming back to the accomodation and finding the little bear on our bed…the bathroom was very well appointed and had everything we needed to keep our room in a well appreciated location.
