An awesome abode in the hills, owned by Sreejith Kalathil, who lives abroad. Sanu & Babitha are excellent hosts who will guide you through the winding Tea Estate roads till you safely reach the property. They are always ready to provide a meal, fresh & homely. Mani is a great help with the luggage. The winter nights are dark & cold with occasional night bird calls and animal sounds. With the early light of the morning, arrive the tree dwellers, wistfully longing for a banana or two. Morning walks are invigorating. Meet Manoj at the India Gate Bakes & Restaurant on the main road, a stopover for good food. The slope to the parking lot is best maneuvered by moving ahead, turning around, and returning to drive up the slope in the first gear, rather than reversing in.
