Great service and location. It is right next to the huge Raffles City mall and the Intercontinental hotel so it has easy access to many different restaurants. The night cruise and Hongyadong are also in the area. Not many options for breakfast and room service. Breakfast area quite small also. Beds could be comfier. Room layout quite odd, lots of corners. Only 1 sink in the master bedroom. Shower area wasn't as clean. There were hairs on it before we even used it.

Excellent location with fantastic views. The Drone lighting show is simply awesome! NA

The receptionist Xiao Yang was very helpful. The concierge was also nice and friendly. The room was comfortable to sleep. The soundproof in the living room wasn't good enough. The window glasses on the outside need cleaning.

I was a bit disappointed at this hotel. It had a really high review, so I expected a lot. First of all, the room was great clean as was the whole hotel. Cleanliness was amazing. The staff was very nice as well. There was 1 staff member who speak very well English and guided us through the whole check in process. Lastly, the location was incredible. The raffles city mall was right behind our hotel, as was the observatory for the drone show. The gorgeous city of ChongQing was about a 5 minute drive. The pool was really average and smelled a bit. It was not as clean as we hoped, which was surprising considering the rest of the hotel was very clean. The breakfast was fine, but most things tasted old. Especially the western part of the food. We had no great experience with that. Room service was very expensive and the food was below average. Something as simple as fries, was bland and soggy. For an Ascott hotel, I was really disappointed. I felt like the look from the outside is very much so luxury, but when you zoom in, the little things are left being average. I did not like that at all. All in all, it was an average hotel especially for the price.

If you want to feel like you are living out an episode of Succession without breaking bank this is the place to stay at when in CQ.

A perfect location, the Metro, a good shopping mall right below, and a huge variety of wholesale shopping nearby which opens really early, we also walked across the bridge to LongMenHao. Food places are everywhere, don't worry about getting hungry. There was a bar at ChaoTianMen square which open till 3am right at the edge of the YangTze River The hotel is super new and clean, 2 big rooms perfect for me my wife and my parents in the other room, bathtub available Really friendly janitors, the view of the river is partially blocked by another tower but it's not a big deal for us. The hotel also provided free porridge at night which my dad loved. Overall very comfortable stay, breakfast wasn't included but in chongqing I much rather eat Xiao Mian Hotel also accepts local TaoBao delivery I wish there is a way for foreigners to place orders like food deliveries with a local number

1000% recommend this hotel, we fell in love with it. Super clean, beautiful views and your own space in the midst of the chaos of the city. It’s a serviced apartment, which basically means you’re getting a one bed apartment to yourself that gets cleaned everyday and has staff onsite 24/7. Staff are so kind and helpful. Hotel is connected to the Raffles City mall which has every kind of food, personal care service or conceivable item you might need, plus is just so fun to walk around. Note that the hotel is not in the main Jiafengbai tourist district but is a 10-15 min walk away. We loved that aspect of it but if people want to be in the centre of the busy stuff then just keep that in mind. But easy access to river cruises and everything around the port, plus 2 min walk to a metro station. We miss it already.

The room was large, had a washing machine, and had great views over the vertical city. The gym and swimming pool were both surprisingly large too. The breakfast had a lot of options as well. The location was great, right on top of a mall so you can easily go down for shopping or eating in the restaurants there. Walking distance to the famous location with lights as well.

It’s a magnificent location to see Chongqing when looking out the window. Staff was helpful and they were very accommodating. It’s not walkable to the attractions since it’s separated by the river on both locations.

Location was perfect. No small refrigerator in room.

My second stay. Will stay there if visiting Chongqing again. Nothing.

Great location, service and view. Very accessible to transportation, stores and mall.

The hotel is overall wonderful. The people (staff) are its biggest assets which made me leave a score of 9/10. Staff are are fantastic and display very professional and friendly attitude. Particular shout out to Ron and Jack (the concierge doormen who helped my slightly disabled father to carry his items from LG to L1 and vice versa). Zoe at Reception was also very thoughtful in her tourist attraction suggestions (aside from a super efficient check-in). The cleaning lady also did a great job (as compared to the Ascott Chengdu where we stayed before arriving at Chongqing, the cleaning job was done much better here at Ascott Chongqing). Location is great: right next to the ferry pier to board the river cruise, and easy platform to view the drone shows), and given my parents' slightly immobility, having easy access to the mall with lots of great restaurants with different tiers was spot on for our needs. However, in terms of "hardware", needs a bit of work (windows are fairly dirty so even if we got a bit of river view, we couldn't see much due to the dirt!). Lifts are a bit slow though there were 3 but we usually had to wait a rather long while. Internet is a bit "hit and miss" - avoid "peak hours" when WIFI is virtually not connecting but early or late hours are ok. The number of the cutlery and cups were "strange" - we have 3 people in the room but there were only 2 tea mugs, 2 bowls, 2 small plates, 1 extra large plate and 1 medium plates...Not that we cooked at all, but we wanted to have a cuppa with some cookies in the room and it was "strange" with 2 mugs and 2 plates only.

Spacious rooms, nice views from our rooms, healthy and delicious breakfast, very friendly and welcoming staff. Special thank you to Jack for kindly helping with our luggages.
