It was a wonderful experience and a very comfortable stay. The hotel location is strategic and convenient for visiting most of the main attractions. The staff at the reception and breakfast area were always friendly, smiling, and genuinely helpful. .

The hotel is very well located and the room was spacious and clean. Very close to pedestrian streets, night food spots and local sights. The service was okay but slightly detached and not as fulsome as other 5 star experiences. For example, no help to load or unload luggage of guests who are arriving or leaving.

This was my second stay at The Westin Chongqing Liberation Square, and I’m so glad I decided to return. Although our visit was very short (we arrived at 2:00 a.m. and checked out at 7:00 a.m.), the experience was wonderful. One of our rooms was upgraded to a suite upon arrival, which was a lovely surprise. The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and the shower had excellent water pressure. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the breakfast offered a nice variety of options along with a stunning view. I don’t think I’ll ever stay anywhere else when visiting Chongqing, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to the city. There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.

Room temperature is set 22C/23C during summer, cant go lower than this. I was sweating after took shower and couldnt sleep. Engineer came to check, but he said its normal. Then, they offer me to move to a different room. Temperature is still 22C, but at least i dont sweat.

The staff definitely made the experience exceptional. The facility has amazing views. The rooms are spacious, beds are super comfortable. And the location is prime. Phyllis Gong, guest service manager, was genuinely friendly, resourceful and helpful. Everyone from front office manager to all the staff made the experience one to remember. Referred my friends and colleagues, definitely visit Chongqing and Westin again. Location is pretty prime. Near shopping district and financial district but not directly on the path. Lots of local shops and restaurants nearby. The views are exceptional. The facility has many hidden gems. Thanks for the amazing experience.

Great location. Wonderful rooms which were luxuriously large, clean and comfy. Staff were competent, and supported by very capable management, from arranging rooms for our group of 4 friends, to extending late checkout (when it became available). Jack Zhou went above and beyond by helping us out of a predicament we found ourselves in at the last minute - he was tactful, resourceful, and knowledgeable. Thanks and kudos to the Westin team! Will certainly recommend this hotel to anyone heading to Chongqing!
