Perfect location, you can basically walk everywhere without needing your car. We did not drive most of the time. Also their breakfast is nice as well. Its right next to the police station if you are worried about safety, but Clarrens is supper safe in general. Really nothing bad I can say Maybe the fact that the hot water is off during the day. Thinking if you need to shower after a hike or something similar you might find this problematic. It was not an issue for us though

Engagement once booking was confirmed was awesome, sending a list of excursions and adding a booklet in the room helped a lot. Receiving courtesy call while we were on our way to the venue was a good touch. We were well received by the staff as well. The breakfast and view of the mountains is unmatched. I would most certainly refer the venue to anyone without hesitation. Expectations exceeded all-round!

Everything was up to standard and as expected per initial offering and pics - Place is clean and welcoming - Thanks Dineo and team for looking after us, you made breakfasts as well as our overall stay super special. Nothing really, issues I had with shower pan not draining properly was addressed with Management, but is was very minor glitch / complaint that will hopefully be attended to asap - had a very pleasant stay overall and will recommend the accommodation to family and friends.

The water situation- invest in a borehole.

In particular the quality of service was world class! We look forward to coming back.

The Room was amazing! Tim was an exceptional Host. The breakfast looked absolutely decadent but we had to leave before eating. It is within walking distance of the main shopping area and restaurants - walk everywhere.

The best breakfast ever. Tim is a great chef and he does scrambled eggs out of heaven I could not improve on anything it was truly a great experience and we will soon visit again

The location is brilliant. Super close to the town square, and the epitome of luxury! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Dineo welcomed us, with a friendly face, and we stayed in a beautiful room, with a stunning view of the mountain range, elite finishes, and well stocked for everything needed for the stay. We also had breakfast there, which was scrumptious, and in such beautifully decorated spaces. We were treated like royalty! A wonderful stay all round.

The hostess and staff are so friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was so delicious with fresh fruit and made to order eggs bacon and sausages. The room is decorated excellently and it has all the smaller finer details you need when you travel.

Charming with all the amenities and comfort. The owner was on top of everything and super friendly. Superb breakfast.

Wow!!! Attention to detail …. from the beautifully decorated and comfortable room to the candle light breakfast… can’t say enough and I will not spoil it by saying more. Little surprises all around to discover. We really felt pampered. Timothy was an excellent host and a fabulous cook. He made some great recommendations for drive routes and for dinner. Communication was easy and fast. This is definitely the place to stay if your in the Clarens area.

Beautiful, well appointed guest house. Lovely, attentive staff. Lots of attention to detail- correspondence pre arrival
