There was mold on the pillows, and staff did not help the issue at all or even seem concerned.

Overall it was a great hotel with easy food nearby. It served its purpose. They’re under construction so it’s a little hard to find parking especially at night. The room could’ve been cleaner. I found hair balls, lots of dust, some mold in the shower. The tv was HUGE , I think 75 inches, we really enjoyed that. The ac worked very well. Can’t complain because the price was amazing.

Check in was super quick and easy. The room was super clean! The staff was absolutely amazing and so very helpful!! The pool area is so awesome!! It's a great place to stay! I love staying here!! I will for sure be back again soon!! ✌️❤️🙂

Was disappointed in he fact there was not a microwave in room and the fridge was very small and held very little The room was comfortable and the maid service was excellent especially a woman named Melissa 🙂

Easy check-in. Staff pleasant

Room was minimalistic but very clean and chic. You have most of what you need, love the renovations. Bathroom shower, bedroom, 55/60in Samsung with all the apps to watch movies like Netflix etc. Great hidden gem for an affordable getaway. We stayed for about 3 nights visited 3 different beaches but because it’s so affordable we may stay for a week next time. Pool was very calm, relaxed, very suburban malibu kinda vibe with a nice shower and bathroom area for the pool. Loved how tucked away it was (although I’m sure after renovations prices may go up). Definitely recommend. Only thing is they have one community microwave, wish it was in the rooms but wasn’t too much of a hassle nor was it busy for us to use. Thank you! Staff was efficient, made it easy to check in and out. Self-parking was free, which is always nice.

Great Staff Clean!!

they were behind on check in ( room cleaning) and said they would call when the room was ready. We had gotten there quite early and went to eat lunch. We just went back after a couple hours and they did have rooms ready, but "forgot to call"... There were others sitting in the lobby that when they saw us check in, they got up, and were like What? We were sitting right here for a couple hours and nobody let us know that rooms were ready?? It was not good! Other than that, everything else seemed to be okay, although when the room was ready, there was no brochures or information of where to get ice or room service or any of that, which would have been helpful to know where the ice machine was! ( another floor). There's a was also a sock under the bed and goldfish crackers on the floor so they must have gotten in a hurry getting rooms ready!

This is going to be a really nice place when the renovations are completed. The only gripes I have about this place is that the lights in the back of the property are bright, all night long and the shades don’t cover the sides up… maybe they could get drapes to cover the sides?

I would recommend Tropical palms hotel to anyone looking for a nice and clean place to stay.
