Quality Inn & Suites Clinton - Jackson West

No ice in the ice machine which was next to the non-functioning pool and hot tub. Only one for the entire premises. Things were broken, dirty, kind of gross.

Not much The room was not clean. The armchair in the room smelt terrible! Literally, I could not sit in the chair it smelt so bad. The carpet was dirty, the lampshades were dusty and just did not feel like anyone had paid any attention to it in the last six months.

First room was not clean and had no phone, clock or microwave. The second room was decent except for the wad of candy stuck to the floor. Room was not refreshed after the first night and the front desk person blew it off (“I guess they didn’t feel like cleaning your room”). The “breakfast” was also very sparse. Even for a budget hotel stay, this one was disappointing.

They cancelled the reservation because all rooms are smoking. all are smoking rooms. They are no non-smoking rooms. I booked non-smoking room.

I walked in the room looked around and walked right back out. I was not staying in a room that had stained bedding, cigarette burns on the bedding, cigarette butts on the floors, dust hanging from the ceilings. I can go on and on….
