Gloria Homestay

Room smelled great, bed was comfortable, good lighting, hosts have a cozy home! No filtered water dispenser.

The rooms are simple, but are a wonderful value for the cost. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. The location is an easy walk to tourist locations, but set back on a quiet street. Breakfast was tasty - well worth the cost. Two small things: we didn't have hot water in the room even after turning the gyser on. The bed had only twin-size sheet for each side of the bed. It was fine for me, but a bit short for my partner who is quite tall. Neither would prevent me from recommending the homestay - just things to be aware of.

Very nice simple homestay with a great location. Comfortable bed but relatively small cloth as top sheet. No hot water, but the weather was hot so not really needed.

Absolutely loved this place. House is charming, bedroom is comfortable and all you need is there. Fort Kochi is a 5 min walk. And Gloria and her family are amazing-kind, helpful, funny. Oh and do try her breakfast- one of the best I had in my life (with beef !) Nothing !

Dutch House Concept with Greenery and Garden. Host is nice and Friendly Location is near to Fort Kochi So much rules. It may be good if you are travelling solo. But with so much luggage and short duration of stay it's not feasible Like removing shoes outside and then go into property AC was not working No Hot Kettle Washroom is so small. If you bath you need to take care that water may spill from comode to your body I book as balcony is shown, but in room there is no balcony The Top Sheet or cotton blanket was teared You can not have food inside room

Everything was perfect. Location, walking distance to the Chinese nets and other attractions, cleanliness ,very nice breakfast and above all the kindness of the owners who gave us all the useful advice to make our stay unforgettable

Convenient location. The rooms was a bit small. Was told to help myself to the bottled water then at end of stay was asked how many bottles I took and was charged. Wasn’t a big deal just felt their communication didn’t imply I was paying for the water.

Our Hosts were exceptional, helping with all matters of our stay and onward travel. Delicious breakfasts and meals provided. Property very clean and well presented, with a roof terrace, communal kitchen and fridge. Location perfect right in the heart of Fort Kochi walking distance of most attractions. Nothing everything was very good. The friendliest hosts made our stay so much better.

The location and facilities were great, but it was the hosts that put this place over the top. They were so great and friendly, I felt bad leaving. As a privileged North American, it took a second to get used to the bathrooms - but that is how they are! One big room with everything. The showers were clean and once I had my first shower I came to like it!
