Poor staff . I had to wait more than 4 hours to get checked in because there was no front desk staff Front desk staff making check in easier

Clean and the staff. I didn’t get the big room I usually get this past time.

Staff Cleaning Room size No breakfast

It was very affordable. The rooms were very spacious, clean, and comfortable. Our room had a kitchenette with a sink, microwave, mini refrigerator, and plates & silverware. The central AC worked nice and kept the room cool. The Wi-Fi was fast and easy to connect to. The water pressure was good and got hot quickly. The breakfast exceeded my expectations as they consisted of a customized sub sandwich (turkey, tuna, bacon, egg, tomato, lettuce, etc.), a pastry (plain croissant, chocolate chip croissant, bread pudding, etc.), fruit juice, and coffee all included every day with our stay. The staff even accommodated us when we had to leave early on one of our mornings and they had our breakfast ready as soon as they opened at 6AM. The location was good as it was a short drive to establishments in Simpson bay and the airport. It was even within walking distance of SXM brewery and Lagoonies restaurant. The parking was free and you can park in the front where the deli/bakery is or you can park in the rear lot. The GFCI power outlet in the bathroom did not work. There was no bathroom vent but there was a window. While the location was convenient, it was not within walking distance of a beach and the neighborhood was an industrial park. On the first night we did not have blankets for the beds (only bedsheets) but we got blankets on our second day. There was no pool or hot tub. There was no elevator and all rooms are on the third floor so be aware that you will need to carry all of your luggage up two flights of stairs. Our room had a motion detecting switch that would malfunction and it would turn the main light on and off during the night which was somewhat annoying.

Affordability and experience of local communities Only for one day we run out of water. Otherwise all is good.

It was clean with a nice courtyard and third floor balcony. The room was basic but had many nice touches. The beds were old and not very comfortable The place is in a fairly rough part of town - many people would find it a bit too much like an African city - despite its shabby feeling it felt safe The hotel portion is on the third floor up fairly long steep stairs.

Breakfast included Guests have to climb 2 sets of flights of steps without any concierge services. We booked the room for 3 persons but there were only 2 sets of towels. Worst of all, one of the housekeeping staff was very rude and dishonest.

very clean and exactly as advertised. breakfast was excellent we couldn't get the TV to work and there wasn't anyone to ask

The room was colourful and practical with everything we needed. We appreciated the coffee-making facilities. The breakfast in the bakery below was good: tasty, freshly-made hot sandwiches and pastries. There are a lot of steep steps up to reception which are challenging for anyone with an injury or slight disability. The shower jet was partially blocked.
