The rooms was really cute with a kitchenette. The breakfast was excellent with made-to-order coffee, eggs and omelets. This is a real family establishment, and the staff treats guests with great friendliness and care. I liked that the lobby/restaurant area was open for coffees in the day. This was great for a work trip where you didn't always want to be out and about and also for after checkout, but before time for your train. It was not in the central part of town, but I liked this quiet location.

Great location! It was walking distance to center, shopping districts, Christmas markets, etc. Room was nice and cozy.

Great location, close to restaurants and shops. Very comfortable and clean room with a safe. Elevator made 4th level easily accessible. Friendly and welcoming staff. We had to call the host to get access to the room. We did not have an EU phone, also not able to contact through WhatsApp.

spacious, 2 bathrooms which was great for a family of 5. host was super responsive. apartment doesn’t have a designated parking, which made it difficult to find a parking spot in the super narrow and limited street.

Staff were great. Initially we had a small room but for a small cost we were able to upgrade to a very decent sized room. It's worth going for the bigger room for a couple. The small rooms are fine for a single traveler. Breakfast was really good with eggs cooked to order and many other choices. Luka and Thomas were very helpful and fun. Location was a little off the beaten track, but very walkable to everything you want to see and do. A/C in all rooms would have been nice. We were in Cologne for a heat wave and were provided with a portable a/c. However, the venting of the a/c caused the window to have to be open, so the room did not get that cool. Other than that, everything was great.

Hairdryer attached to the wall gave real trouble to my gf. She complained she has to keep her finger on the button, and also stay in the same position due to short cable for minutes. That was the only downside.
