Some staff not very helpful, checkin automatic process was poor. Wifi weak in room

The hangers and sinks could have been a bit cleaner in the bathroom. It wasn't very dirty but the stuff in the bathroom was a bit old and could be cleaned a bit more.

Well-located, modern building with elevators. Reception and common areas are really spacious. They have laundry service. They provide bed linens and a small kitchen available if you want to cook and/or store food in the fridge Wifi didn't work very well. No AC or ventilation at all in the rooms or common areas; it gets really hot in summer. They allow children in the hostel, which can get annoying, super noisy and stressful. The bed didn't have a proper plug, just two USB ports that didn't work (for me).

Only the internet accessibility was a problem, at least for me.

This is a rundown hostel, not a hotel! The whole hostel is in a bad shape: rooms aren't very clean, there are many marks on the wall and walls are badly re-painted, there is now AC and windows can be barely opened... Plus it costs as a regular hotel. It is misrepresented on Booking.com as a hotel! If I would have know it, we would not book it!

Situation, clean and staff. So laud and disturbed by the others who stays in another rooms.

Location’s great, reception staff are very friendly. The hotel smelled very heavily like cannabis and feet. The lobby between the rooms smelled awful and the room itself smelled even more awful. It’s suffocating and overpowering as soon as you come inside. I had my fan with me and tried to ventilate the room before I slept but no use. Some of my clothes still smell like cannabis after washing.

The kitchen was so small and you need separate key from the reception to open the kitchen and when you finish you have to give it back

No air conditioning during heatwave meant that it was horribly hot and humid inside the room. There was only one small desk fan in the room, which of course didn't help a bit if you were sleeping on the upper stage of the bed. I sleep very badly in hot weather, so there was no way to recuperate. Room smelled terrible. Because the windows couldn't been fully opened the room could not be doffed. I had to wait more than twenty minutes before check in, because the front desk was understaffed. Standing around in the heat with my heavy luggage was not fun. I was assigned a bed already occupied by another guest and on my second day my room card suddenly stopped working. Considering that this was a pretty expensive option for a hostel, service and facilities were horrible.

Location There Booking.com messages are already messaging about Check Out when I'm just about to Check In- needs ro be checked and controlled. Also support through Booking.com is as good as nothing. For a known Warm Day, they haven't provided solution for a warm room- as if the staff would let us sweat, we have to go down multiple times to get a Fan

Parking is available, which is very convenient. Location is very good, there are several supermarkets in the area. There is a kitchen where you can store your food and cook. Bathroom is very small, sometimes the soap was out. Lockers in the room were quite noisy, not possible to use them quietly.

The USB sockets by the bed simply did not work… even if they did work they weren’t proper power outlets, so that was a major annoyance for me staying in the top bunk bed, I stayed in many hotels and I haven’t any without proper power outlets.Also no curtais for the bunk beds, not only for privacy but there’s no indovodual bed lights so when someone needs to turn the lights in the whole room is lit up

Nothing Everything .. Being a solo traveler who has visited more than 20 countries and stayed in many hostels all over Europe, I can confidently say that this is the worst hostel I have ever stayed in. First of all, before my arrival, I requested a lower bed due to my back pain, and the hostel confirmed that it would be available. When I arrived, the receptionist even assigned me a lower bed number. However, after checking in and going to the room, I found someone already sleeping in my assigned bed. When I went back to the reception to explain the situation, no proper solution was offered. The receptionist was completely helpless and did not try to provide any alternative solution — not even another bed in a different room or any attempt to help me get the bed that had been assigned to me. He just kept saying, “Sorry, I can’t do anything.” Other issues: * The rooms smelled very bad. * There was no air conditioning, and the room was extremely hot to the point that it was difficult to breathe. * The rooms are not soundproof at all, and you can hear all the noise from outside. * The elevator felt unsafe and looked like it could break down at any moment. * They sell bakery items at the reception, but unfortunately there were flies inside the bakery showcase. * The location is not great, as you need to walk around 10 minutes to reach the nearest tram station. * The corridors on the floors also smelled bad. This was my first and definitely my last experience with the a&o chain. I do not recommend this hostel to anyone looking for decent service or even basic comfort standards

Very noisy

Location Tiny room with even smaller toilet inside. The toilet is not sound proof with a bar at the bottom of the door serving as ventilation. The room was shabby. The business model of a low-cost airline: you need to buy everything including a lock to store your staff in the room. No regular comfy spirit of a hostel where you can meet and chat with interesting people. Unfortunately, i was also unlucky with the neighbours.
