I booked the junior suite and it was truly a unique stay; the fabulous architecture of the building all comes together in this room which is a glass box perched on the front of the building with a fabulous terrace overlooking the square below. Lots of space; a super comfy bed and lovely light filled bathroom with a tub. The cafe downstairs is also super nice spot for breakfast or a coffee. It's also located in a great part of town just by the Belgisches Viertel for exploring all the cool bars and restaurants. Nothing! Although maybe if you stay in the suite bring an eye mask as there's a lot of glass so you can't make the room super dark.

Very clean and spacious room, in our favourite area in Köln close to bars and restaurants. There is a supermarket just opposite of the hotel. The beds were perfect, there was airco and a little fridge in the room.

They had a garage for our bikes. Comfortable and cool neighborhood.

Aircon in the room was an unexpected and very appreciated bonus as I was there in extreme temperatures! Room was clean on arrival, cleaned each day. Area was easy to walk in to centre. Streetmap provided in room was useful Supermarket across road was useful. Maybe some info on cafes/restaurants in immediate area could be provided.

Very clean, nice enough room, as described, let down by 3 significant issues The bed was noisy because it was broken, previous reviews mentioned this but it appears nothing has been done to stop the problem. The room was hot. Ok, it was upper 30s outside but both the corridor and outside felt cooler. A fan wasn't enough to fix the issue. The TV didn't connect to anything, so was useless.

It was close to the cathedral It wasn't a hotel but a hoStel- expensive one without actually worth it. Worn out. No AC and inside the so-called hotel the smell ....was .... horrible. Noise from both inside and outside - no soundproofing at all. No mosquito net based on the fact that no AC requires to open the window. The staff - guardians. The parking - the most expensive in Germany and it was a box in which I could barely get out of my car after parking it carefully so as not to scratch it. NEVER AGAIN.

Suggestions for improvement: a tall mirror. The description says there was an airco, but during our one night stay we could not find it. (But the windows can open)
