Cold , not much character , the garage is tiny. Had communicated w hotel that I need a place .But there was none. Parking on street cost 4 eur per hour. Plus if you dont have green label ( bc you dont if you live outside of Germany) it cost you 100 eur ticket . This is reality in German towns and if you don’t know then you pay. Hotel site doesn’t communicate this information. Considering its 4 stars and Hilton

Good location with easy access to city center The only downside was the the desk staff which wasn’t very helpful
-
The building itself was amazing, and the location was also great. Parking was expensive.
-
Comfortable good sized room good value interesting building fun rooftop bar No bar/restaurant open during the day. Location a little out of the way.

Night staff very super friendly and helpful; got a room towards the Dom; breakfast was superb with great choice to order plus great buffet choices; excellent conference venue with great food

The hotel was very unique and beautiful inside. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The roof top bar was fantastic and a great place to end the night. The breakfast was one of the best we had in Europe. They had vegan options for me that were awesome. Still dreaming about the vegan spread ❤️ The only thing I wish is we'd stayed longer

Second time in this hotel, never disappoints. Unique look, convenient facilities

The room was amazing and so comfortable. The rooftop bar was also very cool. Everything was so expensive from breakfast to late night drinks.

Loved the room set up. Everything was beautiful and high quality.

Fabulous building. Great location. Loved the rooftop bar. The public pool nearby was fun. Very secure underground bike parking in their garage. Incredibly quiet, dark, comfortable room. Good shower. The lighting was very dim in the room.

This hotel is in one of the best locations for anyone wanting to visit Cologne. It’s close to everything—you can reach almost any place you want within 15 minutes. The staff was absolutely polite and helpful. I would give them 5 stars. The most important issue was with the shower—the hot water kept switching between hot and cold every minute, which was very uncomfortable. Also, the photos shown when booking the room are random. For example, if you see a photo with an arched brick window view, it doesn’t mean your room will have it. You need to specifically request that type of room, which is not ideal. Our room had a patio, but the door to it was locked and we had no access. There wasn’t even a window we could open to let in some fresh air. The flat-screen TV was quite outdated. These days, TVs should at least support features like screen mirroring or apps like Netflix and YouTube. This is especially disappointing considering it’s one of the most expensive hotels in Cologne. The iron and ironing board were also in poor condition.

Immediate neighborhood made walking downtown unpleasant. Room felt small for the price. Breakfast was very expensive…many options at the buffet, but one can only eat so much!!

Incredible - unique find

Beautiful hotel, very clean, nice extra touches like bottles water and an Easter biscuit. Everything we needed in the room. Friendly check in. Extra comfortable bed and great shower. Really interesting building and different/special place to stay. There was an event on in the bar on one of the nights and the music was unnecessarily loud and traveled down to the rooms below. One of the lifts was out of service so sometimes had to wait to reach the room.

The architecture, lay out and views are great. The climate control was horrendous. It was insanely hot inside the hotel and in our room (28.6C on an average day in April) and there was no way to adjust the temperature properly. Staff came and said they fixed the air conditioning but they failed. Window handle was broken so it could bot be opened. We changed rooms in the middle of the night; next room similar issue, except at 24-26C. Thinking to change rooms again but after leaving window open for a full day it come down to 22.6C. One of the elevators was out of order during the full length of our stay, so only one left. Also, there was a loud party going on in the rooftop bar on Sunday evening, with beats audible in our room two floors below it. Only until 22pm, fortunately.
