Location

It was very close to the ferry and also to the historic center of Colonia. The staff was lovely, and rooms clean. Basic accommodation, but convenient for a night.

Convenient location a short walk from restaurants and sights in Old Town. Okay breakfast. Friendly staff. Suited us for one night before ferry back to BA.. Small fridge in room. Bedside shelves and lamps. Clean bathroom. The room was tiny and had dodgy-looking outlets and only one suitable for charging devices and it was in a tricky location. Double bed, not queen. Our baggage is only a bit bigger than carry-on and it was a struggle to find a place to put it. Fridge was unplugged when we arrived. No elevator to get to third floor and the stairs were a bit shaky. Ask for lower floor if that matters to you. Pix are a bit misleading.

Location was right where we needed it to be. Breakfast was good and offered what we expected. The room itself was fine. The bed was a little uncomfortable. It was also weird stepping up to the bathroom.

There was nothing, absolutely nothing to like about this property. Beware! There are no rooms on the ground floor, and the hotel doesn't have an elevator. There are only narrow and steep stairs to get to the rooms. Also, the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. Stains all over... on the drapes, on the towels, on the comforter. The picture shows the most disgusting one I found (on the comforter), you can imagine the rest. Avoid this property at all cost.

Friendly staff It was rather loud and the rooms were small

Incredible location, everything is closed to some steps. Very nice staff

Breakfast was simple but fresh snd good quality. The only guy im charge was nice and cooperative. Sparking clean tiny dining area. Matress and pillows were ok on a vey small bed.. Overall ( with some exceptions) it was clean. Bedspread was stained. Looks like a few guests used the same one since the last laundry time. The room had only one socket other than the national standard plugs. No adaptors. No bidet im the bathroom. Charging 4 devices was a matter of waking up at night and switch to the next every 3 hours. The night tables were from the movie " Honey I shrunk the kids". No room for anything on them. A small " table " (shouldn't call it this word ) was not big enough for anything but a mess though there was some unused space for a larger piece of furniture which some stingy owner wouldn't afford. Shampoo and conditioner are not important for an USD 85/night budget hotel (* note below) so they wouldn't provide guests with them as a policy. There was a strong smell of humidity every time I got into the room. Strong and disgusting. We had to beg for dry extra towels. So people taking a shower twice a day would have to put up with wet towels added to the factbthat humidity wouldn't help at all for them to dry on a time basis. Last but not least. It is not a HOTEL as advertised. It is not even an INN. Just a bread and breakfast ultra basic room lacking all sorts of comfy standards for the price. For $ 10 mote a night we could have booked the Don Antonio. 100 times better.

Superb

Situated well in the center of town. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Uncomplicated and flexible check-in The funny smell in the entrance / common area. Guess it's from the carpet (no smell in the room!).

The location is very good, breakfast was great and the staff were very eager to help. The rooms were on the second floor without elevator and it was not advertise. We recommend to put a mirror in the bedroom so 2 people can get ready at the same time. We also recommend to add an electric outlet next to each one of the bedside tables. We did not get toilet paper the second night or soap, we had to go a buy some. We recommend to leave at least one spare in the bathroom.

Comfortable bed, strong Wi-Fi, excellent location (close to the historical center, ferry and bus terminals, beaches, restaurants, bars, banks, exchange offices, and grocery stores), very easy self-check in procedure, good communication with the staff, accepts card payment. Good value for the price paid! Strange smell in the closet and in the hotel in general (maybe coming from the carpet), average breakfast, a bit noisy at times, but not too bad. Could use some curtains and extra power outlets.
