Villa Clementina Boutique Hotel

Villa Clementina is perfectly situated, with beautiful views and a wonderfully peaceful atmosphere. The staff were exceptional throughout our stay, and Richard in particular went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, accommodate our requests, and ensure everything was seamless. His warmth and attention to detail made our stay genuinely memorable. Very little to fault. The only suggestion would be to offer all-day room service, as there were times between meal services when we would have loved the option.

Incredible staff & service.

The staff at Villa Clementina went above and beyond in every way. From coordinating all of our drivers and transfers to preparing a personal breakfast bag for our early morning departure, the hospitality was truly world class. The dinner was exceptional — the soup of the day was made with fresh vegetables straight from their garden, and the breakfast each morning was delicious. The views are absolutely breathtaking and the location is stunning. Honestly the only thing we wished was different was that we had booked more nights! We did not get the chance to enjoy the pool or the hot tub, and we will absolutely be coming back just for that. There is truly nothing negative to say about this property.

There are so very many things to LOVE about Villa Clementina, starting with the property and it's unique positioning on the slope of a mountainside. One can simply breathe in the views and immediately reduce any stress experienced while driving through the narrow, winding roads en route to this lovely place to unwind! The rooms are impeccably clean and well organized, maximizing available space. The Chef prepares a tightly curated menu each evening and if you truly wish to chill there is no need to even leave the property to enjoy scrumptious meals served by a very caring staff. The owners are invested in your experience and are on property regularly. Can't leave a review without sharing the truly superb and effusive charm of dapper Richard, who heads the staff in providing such excellent service. A newsletter greats you each morning with a few facts about the area and the staff members who are serving you and maintain the property. The Villa sits just at the beginning of an 8 mile stretch of scenic views of the lake, so if you love to walk or run this Villa is a great choice. Can't say enough about this ensemble cast and how much they CARE about your time and experience with them! Was truly nothing to dislike about the experience at Villa Clemintina! We were there for a wedding... and the "path" from the hotel to the parking garage can be tricky in heels. So let them know your comings/goings and they'll slip you into a golf cart to get you from Villa to parking! They have considered every detail and have you covered!

Staff were amazing. The location was great and the view was epic

Staff was friendly You are parking the car and then after taking the elevator you need to walk 2-3 min against to the hill. If weather is hot thats a miserable, also at night of you are coming late thats also not nice. For the value rooms are very small, they have a complimentary water but they poured it over the sink. I thin value of the hotel should be at least halved

The only way to describe Villa Clementina is spectacular. My wife and I went away for the first time to Lake Como and after reviewing multiple hotel options on the lake, landed on Villa Clementina. We had the Villa Clementina Suite for 5 nights and despite the pictures and videos, it surpassed out expectations. Waking up every day looking at mountains sloping from the sky down to the blue lake. Literally one day we woke up and were eye level with white clouds floating over the lake. The setting is stunning and somehow the staff, service, and food match the beauty. The communication ahead of time to prepare was so helpful and everyone was so responsive. They provided directions to anywhere we needed to go, scheduled tours, and provided us truly anything we needed while there. The staff is always so pleasant, informed, and ready to please. It feels like you are a part of a small family in a small town on Lake Como that makes you feel so welcome. With a private garage to park if you drive and located on the Lago di Como greenway you can get around confidently and easily. The food was wonderful. The menu changed multiple times with daily specials including fresh local fish. The chef would come out and meet us and talk about the dishes. He even offered to make my wife tuna tartare at 10:00pm and send it to the room! Breakfast was great each morning and the view from the dining room is unbeatable. At no point did my wife and I feel unrelaxed and can't speak highly enough of the experience. I hope we are able to go back and would recommend Villa Clementina to anyone looking for a quaint, romantic, relaxing experience. Thank you to everyone at Villa Clementina for making our experience so memorable. Only constructive comment would be to have an iron or steamer in each room for guests. No other critiques!

Everything is excellent

The room was very nice! The view is unbelievable! We like the hotel so much. It's quite small but very nice, new and clean. The breakfast was very good as well! The Como Lake is a lot of towns around so we used the car and it was perfect. If you don't have a car, it might be not so convenient to stay in small Colonno because you need to go often in bigger towns.

Wonderful location with beautiful views. Small boutique hotel with personal attention and really nice staff. The diners are great! If I had to say one thing, the lunch salad was a bit simple for that money.

Everything! The location - it was quiet but close enough to get transport to other nearby locations. The staff - they were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The hotel - it was perfect in every way, especially the pool area and dining area. Nothing!

Exceptional

Very friendly staff. The food of the breakfast and dinner at the restaurant were very good. The location is a top location in a very quite village Colonno, away from the busy villages (Bellagio, Mennagio, etc.), ideal for a relaxing holiday with your partner. The infinity pool and jacuzzi are very nice with amazing view on the lake and comfortable relaxing spots. The room was clean with comfortable bed.

The hotel and staff were excellent, especially the service. Nothing was too much trouble and we were looked after extremely well, Orietta needs a special mention! Book well in advance as room 203 is located at the back of the building so can’t take advantage of the amazing views. However, the restaurant and pool area allows you to take in the Lake Como scenery.

Wonderful place if a little quirky to get to (street level car park, then elevator then 2 min transfer via golf buggy) - very professional and friendly with great staff, excellent food and we had a wonderful room with perfect views over the Lake All good (with the nearby church bells sounding over 30 times at 7:00am no need to set a alarm ?)
