The second room was cleaner, but it was also very outdated. The bathroom had several obvious repairs that appeared to be done with poor workmanship. While this doesn't necessarily mean the room wasn't clean, it gave the overall impression that the property isn't being well maintained. One of the biggest disappointments was finding out the pool was closed. We were traveling with three very excited kids who had been looking forward to swimming, so that was a major letdown. Breakfast was another low point. It was probably the poorest quality hotel breakfast we've experienced, with very limited and unappealing options. The one bright spot was the front desk staff. They were friendly, polite, and professional throughout our stay, especially when handling the issue with our first room. Unfortunately, their excellent customer service wasn't enough to make up for the overall condition of the hotel. We hope this property receives some much-needed updates because it doesn't currently reflect the standards we associate with this brand.

Okay property with good size rooms for families. Breakfast food was okay and limited.

Our stay was terrible, when we got to the hotel after a very long drive at 7PM we were told our room was not ready and would be at least an hour before we could check in, then we were notified the pool and hot tub were down for maintenance. When we went down for everything was out, no eggs, no pancakes the pastry was cold. No bagels and were told they were waiting on the manager to bring stuff. It was 8:30. Very poor management with everything that was going on for a manager not to be present in the building is unacceptable. And not the expectation when staying at a Holiday in!

Had a good experience

Great location to the Pro Rodeo Nice view of the mountains amd prefect access to the highways. 2 night stay with no TV told maintenance doesn't work weekends, halls were dark day and night. Breakfast was good for the value. Checkin staff was very friendly

Very friendly staff A/c loud and barely worked. Ran out of breakfast items

nothing. (It was never replaced). The bathroom reeked like mold and vomit. Our ac could only be on or off via the plug because the panel was broken and it was insanely loud. I stopped to see a friend in her room and one of the beds was broken. I don’t expect much from a holiday inn but this was bad.

Very good

I specifically asked not to be placed by the elevator and they placed us by the elevator and pool with the pool deck outside our room. I requested to be moved and they did accommodate us. The wifi wasn't working and when we called downstairs, no one answered for over thirty minutes. When we walked downstairs there were three people sitting at the front desk. They had no breakfast for us for two days and made excuses that their food order didn't arrive. It was Memorial Day weekend and they had no food. The rooms were very small and the property looked tired and needed some freshening up. The bathroom configuration makes me wonder who helped design them. So odd how it was laid out. Honestly, this may be the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Would recommend looking at other properties in the area.

The room was clean as well as the bathroom. The only issue with the room was that ac was making loud noises and it would not go under 73 so it was a little warm. Breakfast was another story. At 7a they were out of cinnamon buns when my husband asked if she was making more she said no done for the day. So I went to the front desk and the ladies there thought that was odd and went and spoke with the lady in the kitchen to tell her to make more. Well the lady did bring out more nice and hard and frozen. The pancake machine wasn’t working either but at this point we weren’t asking the kitchen lady for anything further.

On the plus side they have a great view of Pike’s Peak from the patio that can’t be duplicated from any other hotel in the area. So 10 stars for the view and 0 stars for the accommodations. Come for the view, but plan to go elsewhere for breakfast.

The parking lot is a little tight quarters but there is lots of parking. The room was nice but one bed was broken on one side that was only obvious when you sat on it.

Loved the check-in and check-out times. It actually made the stay feel worthwhile instead of feeling like we were just paying for a place to sleep. We wer able to enjoy the awesome pool on both days! It felt like a great value and a really enjoyable stay

The hotel was a nice place to stay and the complimentary breakfast was a plus. The staff was very cordial and the stay was very inexpensive.
