My Place Hotel - Colorado Springs, CO

Property is a great location to USAFA which we were visiting. Initial staff on check in was great, her name began with a C. Other staff at the desk were mediocre. My room was supposed to be Mountain View but was not. I also paid for a room with housekeeping but got none, not even emptying of trash or refilling coffee in the room. Overall I would stay again due to location. It is basic, clean, and that’s all we needed. My advice to My Place management is that the little details do matter.

Was a great clean and cheap hotel

The room was very average. It had a kitchen, but had nothing to cook; no dishes, pans, etc. We were unaware of this when we booked. Apparently, this is a MY Place policy. The table was part of a computer table setup. Very hard to use. Would not stay here again.

Exceptional

We were attending a concert at Ford Amphitheater, so this was a great location. Nice that you have kitchette to cook meals. The A/C unit was very noisy and didn’t cool down to the temperature we selected.

Room was clean, staff were great!

It was nice. Good for a night. I should have booked my whole trip here. Very nice for extended stays

My Place.

This chain is Unique in that their approach to a hotel is definitely different from other hotels. In the room, which was just a normal room and didn't cost any more than a normal room at any other, the room had a full-sized refrigerator, a stovetop, a microwave, an actual coffee maker a FULL SIZE TRASHCAN, and a kitchen sink. The room was spacious and clean. The room was showing its age a bit. There were chips in the laminate here and there. It wasn't horrible or anything, just showing its age a bit, which seemed weird because the design of the room would lead me to believe that it was a reasonably new hotel. Definitely less than ten years old, so who knows, maybe the room that we were in has just been used a little roughly. Also, I don't believe this reflects badly on the property, but the lady at the check-in desk was brand new and didn't even have a tag with her name on it yet. She seemed like she had either not been trained or just didn't remember the training about how to handle bookings from booking.com. She was confused by the booking.com email address that they give to protect our privacy and required that we give her her actual email address. She talked about how confusing it was and how it should be giving her better information. We listened to her talk through the entire spiel with the guy in front of us. When she got to us, we had to go through the entire conversation all over again, even though she had just acknowledged that we had just heard the entire conversation with the guy in front of us. That didn't stop her from going through the entire complaint with us again. To be fair, I'm sure after working there for a month, she'll figure things out, and it won't be so awkward.

Cineura the women that checked us in was so polite and helpful. I really enjoyed the stay the Mountain View was beautiful and it’s so nice they allow cats and dogs there for a small extra fee. We will most definitely be back it’s so nice that they have a full kitchen and they also have pots and pans you can borrow to cook and they have a place where you can do laundry to.

It was really a pleasant experience at this hotel. The room and overall hotel were in excellent condition. You get a full size refrigerator and a kitchen top and the hotel is not too far from all sightseeing.

Best budget hotel I have ever stayed in! Extremely clean; very friendly staff who greeted me every time I walked in the doors and wished me a good day every time I walked out the doors; rooms are spacious, nice and every room has a full kitchen, including a fridge with an ice maker (no more going to the ice machine to get a bucket of ice!); bathrooms are clean with no stains or leaking tubs; the grounds are well kept, clean and nicely manicured; and the hotel itself looks very nice - no peeling paint, cracked tiles, dingy carpet; and free "breakfast in bed" (free breakfast delivered to the room). This was an exceptional stay and MyPlace hotels have become my go to now! Plus the rewards program is great too: free to sign up, every guest in the party gets a free bottle of water upon check-in (beats having to pay for the first bottle of water, and if you don't need it immediately, put it in the fridge for later!), early check-in, and points for stays accrue towards egift cards.

Daughter and I came for a wedding and stayed for 3 nights. Staff were great!! Beds are very comfortable, the fridge, ice maker and stove came in handy. Parking was good.

Location was great. Staff was friendly especially Cineurita. Chair was dingy.
