Disappointed. Room smelled musty. Black mold in shower. Tile broken/missing in room entry. Quit serving breakfast at 9:00 am on Sunday.

The room was very humid, almost like the carpet was damp but given the fact that it was hot and humid(97-100 degrees) it was to be expected. The ac cooled the room just fine and the bed was super comfortable. The staff were amazing and were always around if you needed anything. They were also super friendly. The breakfast was good as well. Limited options but it’s included in the room price so still a great thing. One of the reasons we stayed there was because the room came with breakfast. We will definitely stay there again if we come back to the Fort Jackson area.

The room was clean.. the bathroom had hairs in the tub and around it…there was no soap to wash your hands. The room was dark a gentleman came to adjust the lighting, hoping to fix the issue. He suggested we keep the shade open for better light. Not bad, but short staffed and small.

One big issue for me, when we arrived in our room, it was late and I wanted to take a shower. There was no body wash left. The next morning I went downstairs to let the front desk know while my husband and I were on our way out for the day. The man behind the counter handed me a bottle of body wash so I had to go upstairs and put it in myself. Not trying to be picky here, but isn’t that something you would let housekeeping know to do when they went to clean the room? Otherwise our stay was pretty good.

The location of the hotel was close to Fort Jackson which is why I chose it and there are a good amount of eateries nearby. Checking in was fast and easy, staff was friendly. My only issues were with my room, first off it smelled like fabulousa cleaning lemon scent mixed with pee not sure why and it seemed it was coming from the AC I didn't really bother to ask to change rooms since I knew it most likely was fully booked and I was just too tired to interact since I spent a lot of time travelling into SC and hanging out with my Soldier for family day. So all I wanted to do was shower and that too was a disappointment my water was trickling streaming so I felt like I was showering forever since the water pressure was so low. The towels were also very drying on my skin felt like I was wiping down with bleach. Luckily I really just needed a comfy bed to sleep for my two nights in SC for fort Jackson and the bed was good but just not the smell so I had to spray around to filter the air. Other than that the room was pretty clean and had the basic amenities needed but if your really trying to enjoy your room then this may not be it

Simple and easy. Also left earrings in the room, and they found and returned them to me.

Dan was one of the staff he is very nice he was very funny and he tried to help but the management did nothing the pool was absolutely disgusting it was filled with sand I reported it several times. the room had a odor we had to spray over and over again but overall it was okay Dan made it okay the bed slept well the pillows felt great even though my bed made noise but it still slept great if they clean the pool I will return and do better with the room smells
