Fabulous Place, and the hosts were incredible

Beautifully restored manor house close to Condom’s historic center. Very elegantly furnished with every detail well thought out. Hosts were kind and generous. Room/bathroom were exceptionally clean with nice comforters and towels. Delicious European breakfast with eggs if desired. Street parking. Lovely garden. Nothing, everything was better than expected.

The room was light and airy Wifi reception was poor to non-existent in our room - the one overlooking the garden. The room was up a steep set of stairs. The bed was hard. Breakfast consisted of a single egg, stale bread & a croissant.

The room was nice and comfortable and the owners were great. It was all very easy. Breakfast was very good. It's on quite a busy road but the double glazing is amazing!

Our stay at this delightful little hotel in Condom was nothing short of enchanting. Tucked away in the heart of this historic Gascon town, the hotel exudes charm and warmth from the moment you arrive. It’s the kind of place that feels less like a hotel and more like a lovingly kept home. The owners were genuinely kind and attentive, always ready with a smile and helpful suggestions for exploring the area. The rooms are cozy yet tastefully decorated, with a rustic elegance that reflects the spirit of the region. The garden courtyard, with beautiful plants, trees and quiet corners, made for a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring the nearby vineyards or walking along the River Baïse. Breakfasts were a particular highlight—freshly baked croissants, bread, homemade jams, cheese and strong coffee served in a tastefully decorated room that made our morning feel special. Whether you’re visiting Condom for its history, its wine, or simply to slow down and soak up the beauty of southwest France, this hotel is a perfect choice. A true gem—full of charm, character, and heartfelt hospitality. Highly recommended. Our stay was too short:(

Extremely comfortable place to stay. Owners could not have been more helpful or kind. Excellent breakfast.

The location of this property works for seeing the town and region. We had the suite and it was spacious and I enjoyed the bathtub. Our visit was in early February and so it was nice that our room was warm from the time of our arrival. We stayed 2 weeks in the larger region and stayed in 5 different B & B's. This was our least favourite. Our experience here was 180 degrees from everywhere else we stayed. The hosts were not very responsive before arrival. Proactive advice or offers to help with reservations was non-existent. We were not offered use of the lounge rooms and had to ask if we were allowed, which we then were. The bed was very lumpy from use, there is a need for either new mattresses or for them to be turned. The breakfast provided was meager: sliced baguette chunks, coffee and marmalade. Perhaps more was available but it was not expressed or detailed. When I asked for an omelette it was not correctly prepared. We simply did not feel welcomed or cared for and we were the only guests at the time.

Staff was super , excellent breakfast, hospitality, service and cleanliness of the room , it was a fantastic stay ..

The room was beautiful, comfortable and spacious. We loved the breakfast. The breakfast setting was so elegant with a display of lovely croissants, bread, jams alongside fresh orange juice, coffee and green tea, which they topped up for us. Lydie and Steeves made the most delicious omelette and scrambled eggs. The perfect way to start the day. There was nothing we didn’t like. Everything was truly lovely.

Exceptional

The outside of this house gives little idea of how lovely it is inside. Beautifully furnished and decorated, it is absolutely immaculate throughout. Charming hostess, comfortable and quiet room it is a lovely place to stay. The town centre is a short walk away. Breakfast was excellent.

Our stay at Le Chai was fantastic! The location was very central in town, and cozy with a beautiful interior & design, and a back yard garden for relaxing. The owners really make you feel at home, the breakfast was amazing - we were very impressed!

The attention to detail was exceptional. Friendly hosts, very clean and comfortable. There was nothing to dislike.

Breakfast was excellent. Basically this is the equivalent of a four star hotel experience. A beautiful old building that has been lovingly and tastefully restored with style and modern conveniences. All this at a very moderate price. Don’t hesitate, you will not be disappointed. Nothing
