Beautiful views and right next to the famous La Colombe restaurant

The fauna and floral are beautiful. The cottages are situated in a beautiful setting amongst the lush landscape. The overall maintenance of the place needs SERIOUS attention. On arrival, after using the guest bathroom, there was no hand wash intus dispenser, it look like it had not been refilled fur days. In the room, dead flowers from weeks ago, the outside area was not cleaned of swept in weeks, the mini bar fridge was frozen, the cupboard in which was situated looked very tacky and the wood coming off, the milk was sour in the fridge, had not been replaced for a while, telephone line was not working, what’s app number on the information leaflet not existent.

The property is beautiful. There are just a few rooms which are big, nicely designed, and have large verandas. There’s even a wood-burning heater. Delicious breakfasts are served in the lovely pool house. There’s an accessible restaurant called Drumstruck nearby that we enjoyed and a zipline company attached. A short walk reveals lovely views of the surrounding vineyards. We had no trouble with getting Ubers. The staff here are truly warm, friendly, and very helpful. We loved our 3 night stay here! The property is pretty far up a hill from the street though it’s flat once you get to the hotel itself. Great for the views but not an easily walkable hill. The very high-end restaurant, La Colombe, looks like it’s part of the property but it’s not affiliated and is booked solid for weeks in advance.

Absolutely everything. I wish to come back and spend a week. It’s 10 out of 10.

no Breakfast arrangement is a joke.

Really beautiful views, up in the mountain, the rooms are very spacious with garden and extremely clean. Also the fireplace and electric blanket were life savers !!! There was nothing we didn’t like !

Overall had a exceptional experience Nothing not to like. It’s the best

Very good

The staff were very friendly and excellent with their service. The location was amazing. You could see that the unit we stayed in was a little run-down and needed some maintenance. The breakfast experience was also poor. Dirty cutlery, not great service, and limited food options. For the price we paid, I expected more from the place.

Location and ambience N/A

The most wonderful view!!! Very private. The room was very comfortable and clean with everything that you will need for a nights stay. Not not expect much from the breakfast, but it does not take away from the fact that this is a wonderful place to stay!

Staff were wonderful, especially Rowena and Nicola. Room was a bit dated and the bathroom lacked ventilation. This meant the room was a little musty if we were away all day and unable to air out the room adequately. Otherwise, this was an excellent stay. We had family staying nearby, but we were very grateful to escape the family chaos with our room in the trees and the garden pool. Room ventilation could be improved

Loved everything. Property was stunning. The cottages = Best. Scenery = Best.

Exceptional

We went for the 2 Oceans marathon, so the location in terms of that was perfect. The breakfast is very basic but the coffee is nice and the setting is beautiful under the trees. We stayed in the cottages below the hotel, which are a bit run down. There is no aircon in the room, no water (apart from the ones that you can buy) and the bathroom is outdated with taps that you struggle to open. Reception opened late both mornings that we stayed there and we had to wait to check out.

Beautiful location and comfortable room. Nothing.

Lovely views overlooking a valley- great if you want a quiet location. Clean linen, towels etc and a large unit (but dated) and parking outside the unit is handy. The cooked breakfast was good. The unit is dated, and needs a refurbishment (stained carpets etc, very old bathroom)- especially considering the cost being paid per night to stay here. Whilst the cooked breakfast is good, the buffet options are extremely limited and if you don't get in early you'll have to wait a while for your cooked breakfast order as there is only one lady who manages the breakfast (Rowena is lovely though!).

The Location and the room itself is wonderful Breakfast: Service was slow, there was little choice and no attempt to tidy the area or re-stock the limited supplies on offer. Thankfully we were the only table at the time as if a second couple had arrived she would have been totally overwhelmed.
