Motel 6 Coos Bay, OR

Checked in at 3pm only 2 rooms were ready to choose from. Cleaned ok, no shampoo provided in rooms. Garbage bags from maids cleaning left at top of stairway as a hazard. Not a great place to stay, unless there is no where else.

It is a clean room with a helpful staff the only thing i didn´t like was that the bathroom of the room did not include shampoo and had only a pair of towels.

Hot tub was working.

The sheets and bedding were stained and disgusting. We only picked this place to sleep so we werent expecting much but it was worse than expecred...will not be back.

I stayed 7 days at this hotel and my experience was the worse of the worst. The tv wasn’t working, the room smelled like moldy cheese. My shower drain was stuffed full of god knows what causing the water to fill the tub when I showered.

The cleaner was running very late when I checked in at 4pm, but the important parts of my room were clean (pillows, inside of bedding, toilet). I felt safe and staff I interacted with were very nice.

First I would like to say that I do appreciate your welcoming pets. It’s hard to find a hotel that will accommodate pets over 20 pounds. I travel with my dog Lucy quite a bit and we have stayed at Motel 6 on our move from NY to OR. The Coos Bay Motel 6 was very disappointing. The room was filthy, the shower was suspect and the bed had metal springs poking out of the mattress. We left a day early because we couldn’t sleep on the mattress l, let alone the noise from people partying all night above us. I went to the front desk to let them know we were checking out early and she informed me that the policy was 24 hour notice for a refund from the unused stay. If I had known it was going to be so bad; I would have cancelled the moment I walked into the room. I am rethinking future travel plans at a Motel 6.

The staff is the only reason the rating is as high as it is. The rooms were dingy and although fairly clean there was dirt/debris on the floor of our room. No amenities to speak of such as shampoo/condition, just a little bar of soap. It was a little disconcerting to shut the door and see the door had a deadbolt and two swing bar guards at the top and bottom half of the door. Three locks? Really? Where the hell were we staying? We also had to provide ID for every guest, which no other hotel on our 15 day road trip requested, so I'm assuming they have an issue to illegitimate uses of their facility?

Water pressure in the shower was so low.

Was put in a room adjacent to the laundry room. Laundry was being done all night carts being moved in and out. It was very loud. Room was very dusty.

The sheets,a few walls and the floors were dirty. Several things didn't work like the bathroom door was hard to shut and very noisy when opened. Some lights didn't work and there was a fireplace that didn't light up. Also the floor was soft in a few places which felt like you could fall through to the 1st floor. Overall one of the worst places I've ever stayed. Plus in the summer they wanted about $115 a night. RIP OFF!!

Standard rooms are comfy for overnight stay, but if a fridge, ice bucket, cups are needed, for small fee get the deluxe rooms.

One of the worst, grossest places I have ever stayed. Room smelled like dog urine. Mat inside the door was saturated with dog urine. Floor had not been mopped in a long time. No electrical outlets. Couldn't even use my CPAP machine. No coffee maker no CLOCK!! Nothing but a dirty, stinky, gross, room with a COIL SPRING MATTRESS that had urine stains all over it. Walls are paper thin. Heard the people next door yakking and watching TV till midnight.

Not a good stay had 2 rooms one had no hot water and the air conditioner did not work

The staff are friendly, able to accommodate our cats and able to get a parking spot just in front of our room. Just the cleanliness of the floor needs to improve, too dusty and there are candy wrappers under the bed. It would be great if there’s a microwave and fridge as well. But overall stay was great and the price was reasonable.

Bring your own towels and bed/pillow sheets. Room was just cleaned before arrival but bedding still looked dirty or stained. Got a non smoking room that still reeked of cigarette smoke. Nabor’s in the other room kept us up all night, tried to call the front desk but phone was broken of course. Staff is nice, no complaints about them.

Room stunk like an old mop bucket, old dried up puke on the phone and table. No remote to operate the tv and worse beds ever !!!! Hands down worse place ever !!!!

My key never worked the whole from check in to every time I came back to the room. Staff were not helpful at all on fixing the problem and attitude about it. I will never stay there again
