Admiral Hotel Copenhagen
About Admiral Hotel Copenhagen
Welcome to Admiral Hotel Copenhagen, an iconic hotel on the waterfront in the heart of Copenhagen. Here you will be greeted by first-class service and an atmosphere that combines historical charm with modern elegance. The hotel is housed in a listed warehouse building from the 1780s, right next to Amalienborg and with a view of the Opera House. The unique architecture with Pomeranian pine beams, beautiful brick walls and characteristic vaults creates a very special atmosphere and setting for an unforgettable stay. Most of the hotel's rooms have exposed beams and offer a mini-bar, a seating area and a TV with a wide selection of channels. There are of course also tea and coffee making facilities, and in the morning an inviting breakfast buffet with organic ingredients awaits you. On the ground floor you will find aye aye - the hotel's restaurant directly on the quayside. Here maritime surroundings are combined with social dining. The menu is inspired by Mediterranean cuisine, where fresh ingredients are celebrated over an open fire. The atmosphere is completed by carefully selected wines and cocktails that play perfectly with the dishes and the view of the harbor. From the hotel, you can quickly reach the city's vibrant life. Nyhavn and Kongens Nytorv are only a five-minute walk away, and you can reach Strøget in less than 10 minutes. Book a trip in the hotel's private electric boat and enjoy a trip in the beautiful canals, or be impressed by the city's attractions, such as the Little Mermaid, aboard the hotel's buggy. Next to the reception you will find the hotel's two meeting rooms, where you can hold meetings in quiet surroundings in the middle of vibrant Copenhagen. The rooms offer natural light, modern AV equipment and flexible interior design that can be adapted to both small meetings and creative workshops. Admiral Hotel is the place where there is always more to experience.

The location was amazing, the building was lovely, the staff were nice. The housekeeping was far below the standard you would expect for the price we paid, and certainly not what you would expect from a five-star hotel. The room was extremely dusty—to the point that when I wiped the bed frame with a wet wipe, it came away black. The floors and carpet did not appear to have been vacuumed during our stay. The bathroom cleanliness was particularly concerning. Around and underneath the toilet, especially in the corners, there was brown residue and buildup that looked as though those areas had not been properly wiped or cleaned. I can’t say whether it was mold, but it certainly gave the impression that the bathroom had not been thoroughly cleaned between guests. Another concern was the water from the bathroom faucet, which had a noticeable unpleasant smell, despite a note in the room stating that the water was clean and part of the hotel’s sustainability efforts. Overall, the level of cleanliness and housekeeping was extremely disappointing and simply not acceptable for a hotel of this category or price point.

We were greeted with exceptional customer service - the hotel upgraded our rooms (next to each other) and it was very comfortable and charming. Everything was perfect - dinner, breakfast, facilities, and service. We will definitely come back and refer our friends and family. Amazing time! I really can't think of anything.

The hotel’s character and location are excellent, and both the design and the staff were outstanding. What was less favorable was the sauna and pool facilities, which are available at an additional cost. More importantly, access is subject to a booking system, and unfortunately, there were no available slots during my stay. The room itself was nicely appointed, but the lighting in the evening was quite disturbing and made the room less comfortable.

Great location and excellent room. The poor service from Bar staff in the outdoor terrace. I attentive and slow service. A large cohort of staff who congregated at the bar and were more interested in socialising amongst themselves - rather tjhan serving customers.

It was clean and staff were friendly and very helpful. The aircon was broken, but staff were able to assist in getting a fan.

Location Did not offer anything special and was much more expensive than other hotels of this range

Excellent location, great design, very confortable beds. They could improve in quality of toiletries (blow drier was very cheap).

the location was prime would highly recommend The recreational facilities, the fact that you had to pay extra for the swimming pool ,and you also had to book a slot in order to have use of the pool, the use of the bikes again more charges and booking them seemed crazy, in Ireland in a 5 star hotel everything is included,.
