Location. Confortable bed. Great breakfast The decoration and carpets need some cleaning and redecorating

Exceptional

Great location by the river with easy access to parks, restaurants & shops. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Rooms were ok but a bit dark and 3 times during our stay we were not left with any towels after cleaning but reception did resolve for us. Carpets in the hallways are stained and although breakfast was a buffet it was a busy area which made it a bit challenging negotiating people eating breakfast, exiting lifts and at the buffet…. Did not make for a relaxing experience.

Great place, very comfortable and good, central location. Facilities were great, with a small gym, sauna and pool We had to ask 4 times for towels from the personel, and it was a bit on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for

Location. Recepcion staff very polite. It doesn’t match the 4 star standard. The facilities are a bit worn, I had an internal room with an awful view and very little natural light (which could be offered with a discount, for example). The room didn’t feel comfortable and welcoming, the bathroom was a bit worn. Breakfast was uncomfortable. One thing is a buffet and another is having to even get the napkins for yourself. Other comparable hotels at least have cutlery at the table where you sit. And 20 minutes tolerance for check out feels a bit of a stretch when the hotel is clearly empty.

Location and size of the room. Room facing wall, charmless despite the size. No warm options for Breakfast, and lack of English skills from reception staff! Really shouldn’t be a 4* but a 3*

The comfort The pool

It was clean. It is in a good location. It was my first time to see the hotel receptionist can not talk in English. My room was like a prison. no view, no sun.

There was a leakage in the bathroom but the staff couldn’t solve this problem.

Location is great. When we arrived there was no power. We only realised this after climbing the fire escape stairs to the room as the lift was not operational and the room was in total darkness. THE FIRE ESCAPE STAIR DOOR WERE LEFT AJAR. THIS IS ILLEGAL AND DANGEROUS. On returning to the reception, only then were we told that the power was out and there was no indication when power might return. When we went back to the room we realised it was not as described in our booking as having a "quiet street view". It actually had an inner light court 'view' shared by other rooms and the neighbouring property. The generic photo shows a large wall of glazing but it was in fact a small high silled window. On querying this, the response was that this room was "subject to availability". We would have thought that it being bookable it would be available. The room smelt heavily of highly perfumed cleaning product. The room seemed also to be devoid of useful furniture. No coffee making as described. The breakfast area in the morning was shambolic and 'family friendly' with children rampant and babies crying. We chose to vacate the hotel the next morning, forfeiting the entire cost of the 5 day stay. The front desk were particularly unsympathetic. Terrible experience.
