Unlike other hostels the place looks relatively new. They have a cafe where outsiders can sit, which makes the place more alive. The kitchen seemed well equipped and organized. They have good screens to watch the world cup matches. The beds have curtains for more privacy. The rooms have lockers as well. They have a WhatsApp channel to suggest activities which I found helpful. I found the receptionists cold. I don't expect cheerful people, just to be a little bit more understanding and kind to answer questions. I didnt like to have to rent the towel either. The place is a little bit far from the main strip but didn't feel unsafe to walk around.

It was a quiet and Trustfull place. With a very good hosts: Evelin. The taxi driver went away with my fone I had given him for the adress, Evelin located my fone by Internet and got the nummer of the taxi by watching the camera. Another colleague brought me by car to the taxi and the taxi driver gave it back! What are you without a fone nowadays! I didnt like the poverty of the town. The broken pavement. The people sleeping in the streets. The dogshit. The trash.

I hope my next hostel would be at least as good to me as Aldea was: I extended my stay almost at once after I got there. I liked friendliness and helpfulness of the staff and volunteers, which Is the most important, y gracias por hablar español conmigo :). I enjoyed the firm, supportive matress, clean sheets, soft fluffy pillow and a bed curtain. I enjoyed the volume of the bed space and a huge locker. The kitchen was good, and while I saw better equipped kitchens, I was able to cook as much as I needed. I also liked that they offer cubbies for your non-perisheable food - very convenient. I had fun at social activities organized by one of the volunteers I liked location: it is close to every tourist interest in the city and not far away from the bus terminal (just do not take taxi from there, go for Uber), and last, but not least, I appreciate they let me keep my luggage and use common spaces until my departure time in the evening. If I am in Córdoba again, this definately would be a place for me to stay. Not that I did not like it, however it took to adjust to a system, when a card needs to be inserted into a slot in the room for electricity to turn on, including the fan and A/C. If you are the first to come to the room, and the first to leave in the morning (and remove your card), your fellow roommates who came later do not have ventilation, until someone wakes up and puts their card into the slot. I totally get why it is done though. I also wish the Booking lists breakfast.details, as at booking it appeares as optional, however, it seems you cannot add it later, a d need to go a la carte. Maybe it was a misunderstanding on my part. Not a big issue for me. A note to fellow travelers: if you come late, like at 3-4 am in the morning, it is appreciated if you keep your voice down, even if you speak the language most do not understand. To conclude regardless of these minor things above, this stay was a great solid 10 points experience for me, and I easily could have stayed at Aldea for much longer if needed.

The property is gorgeous. Most of the staff was kind and helpful. They kept my luggage for the day after check out. Beds were comfortable and clean. Location is great, pretty area, with many restaurants, bars, bakeries, laundry, money exchange agencies nearby. Not too far from several points of interest for tourists. They don’t offer breakfast or free towels. Bathrooms were far from the room. Some members of the staff were quite rude, i.e., they didn’t knock on doors before entering the room; and spoke very loudly when people were sleeping. I was yelled at by one of the receptionists. One of the cleaning ladies was rushing people out of the bathrooms so that she could clean.

The way the owner designed the hostel is very amazing. The owner must be a traveler before so he/she knows what kind of facilities one traveler needs. Large kitchen, big rooftop and common room to meet other people. Wifi, air-conditioning work perfectly. It's centrally located with lots of grocery stores.washrooms and toilets are super clean . My 4 beds dorm are very spacious and has big locker.Check in is very smooth.Totally value for money.

This hostel was good. The attached cafe was good too. I extended my stay here. Shower was good and just for the room. Wifi was good. The room needs your key card for power. This could have been very annoying if someone left the room while I was still sleeping because it would cut the power to my CPAP machine. I had to make sure it was my card providing the power, but we figured it out.

Great hostel to meet new people. At night they have a bar and they organize some activities to get to know the other guests. It also had comfy beds with curtains and good lockers with camera surveillance. I can definitely recommend staying there.

Comfortable bed, big room, good (hot) water pressure in the shower, big common area, friendly staff, laundry & luggage service It's a youth hostel, so expect some music until at least midnight

Great hostel, impeccably clean and organized. Has a bit of a party hostel vibe :) Cute little cafe/restaurant. Nice and helpful crew. The dorm and toilet window opens out to the shared space where people often hang out (not after 23 though), but still somethign to take into account.
