Room service left the door open the next day. Make sure you lock your car, I saw a guy walking through the parking lot trying to open cars.

The hotel was very clean and organized. Our room overlooked the marina and it was fun watching the boats go in and out as well as the kayakers on their morning runs. The pool areas were clean with plenty of chairs and beach towels. We stayed during the week so not as many families but those that were there with kids were not overrunning the pool areas. The food was generally good and I would highly recommend the gelato. The adult beverages were well prepared and priced what you would expect at a resort. Check-in and checkout was quick and orderly. The only thing to keep in mind is that the hotel is away from Coronado city center but the hotel does provide shuttle service. I would stay there again and would recommend this hotel.

The facilities are well maintained. Location is far away from busy areas, good for resting. The pool area was great for my daughter. Not enough pool chairs at peak hours.

This is one of the best paces I have stayed. Very family and animal friendly. The staff is amazing and I can’t wait to come back again

Looks expensive and price is high but rooms are a small upgrade from a basic motel. The shower was dirty and had pubic hair as well as black hair (I’m blonde) on shower walls. There was dirt on the shower curtain and the counter, I was able to wipe that off with water. The carpet was clearly not vacuumed and had stains everywhere. I had to wear shoes the whole time I was in the room so I didn’t have crumbs on my feet. The wallpaper was peeling and the room had a weird smell. The hotel choice was very last minute because I didn’t want to drive 2hrs home at 10pm. I almost walked back out since the room was not very clean. I was nervous to sleep in the bed considering how dirty everything else was.

Staff was amazing, and there was a wonderful bar, restaurant, and coffee place on site. Room was musty. Actually thought the sheets were chilled due to AC but realized it was just damp. Spent 3 days here and everything we brought smelled like mold when we left. I also thought we were closer to the town, and the free shuttle was not a dependable option causing us to Uber to get anywhere.

Beautiful hotel! Loved the location and amenities

Now, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the rooms were nice and serviced regularly, and the place was wonderful. However, the hot tubs did go out, the bugs were frequently bad, the beach access is not good at all, and everything was more expensive than advertised. Parking is around $50 per night, which wasn't covered up front. Resort fees are almost $50 per day as well which, again were not mentioned up front. And in general, the drinks, in room dining, and food was more than it was worth. Now, I would still recommend this place because the people were pretty nice but I would caution people to know what you are spending.

The only negative thing I can say is we paid for valet parking but in order to leave the premises you have to pay at the gate to leave as well. I think if you’re staying at the hotel then you shouldn’t have to pay at the gate as well.

The property is very old and visibly so. Not very clean or well maintained. The views were beautiful and the highlight of the stay.

All went well, very relaxing stay. I was sitting outside the entrance on bench provided next to Valet and there was dog poop in area.

The rooms can use some updates but I highly recommend for a short stay.
