VERY CLEAN, which is important to us. Staff was very friendly. I am a thrifty person, which allows me to travel a little bit more frequently on a budget. Cortina dʼAmpezzo was high on out list being that it was just an Olympic site host. I found the properties price a bit high personally, but I consider it a value compared to other hotels closer to town. The property was under a 15 minute walk to the heart of Cortina dʼAmpezzo. It was also convenient to several area attractions. I would not hesitate to stay there again should we return there again. Undergoing off season renovations had to eat in a temporary tent & on one of the 2 days was not near the heater so it was a bit cold. Social area is right outside a couple of rooms so had to be quiet out of consideration for those guest. But walls / doors may be a bit thin because we could hear them arguing for a while before they headed out. THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO REGARDING THE HOTEL BUT THINK IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT WE LEARNED THE HARD WAY. THE AREA SHUTS DOWN FROM ABOUT FEBRUARY THE CLOSING OF SKI SEASON TO THE END OF MAY THE BEGINNING TO SUMMER SEASON THUS SEVERAL, RESTAURANTS, MANY HOTELS, ATTRACTIONS, STORES WERE CLOSED WHEN WE VISITED IN EARLY MAY.

Ten minute walk from the center with nice mountain views. Cozy and traditional atmosphere. There was construction outside the building, and the dining room was closed due to a renovation and breakfast was in a tent in the parking lot. Very poor soundproofing between the rooms on the top floor facing the street.

    beautiful place and comfortable

I was hoping to enjoy dinner in their highly rated restaurant, but it was closed for renovations.

Clean room had everything we needed for one night! Big bulky key ring is a pain. Had to move a bunch of furniture to park the car. Major construction on the property from 7:45 to 17:00. Very noisy!

Amazing breakfast! Organized and delicious. Probably the best croissants I’ve had while in Italy Parking up front was tight. I’d recommend parking in rear, even if it is a little out of the way to get to.

Breakfast was good. It was clean. It had a nice view. The rooms were very small and hot because there was no air conditioning and the windows barely opened.

The location is comfortable, easy to reach, however, a little bit on the outer parts of Cortina. Nevertheless, it's easy to reach, and getting into the town center is just about ten minutes walk. Free private parking in front of the hotel is a real treasure in Cortina, where private parking prices can really get crazy. The building itself, along with the restaurant area and the rooms, is on the traditional side, the amount of decoration might even be a little gimmicky. However, the rooms are comfortable, clean. The staff is courteous, kind. We arrived a bit late due to some hiking taking longer than expected, after a quick phone call we were promptly let in and checked in without any issues. As already mentioned regarding the location, it's a bit further off from the town center. That would not be an issue by itself, but the traffic around there might get a bit crazy, and without sidewalks there the walk to the town center in the evening might be a fun activity. Some extra electric outlets would be great in the rooms - the building is old, so the amount is somewhat limited. Some of the breakfast is self-service, and some of it is served, and that's a little bit weird, it really could all be self-service, I don't really get the reason why someone has to stand there and portion out the scrambled eggs and the cheeses.

The chalet style room. Wooden decoration. There is a terrace with a good panoramic town and mountain view. The staff was so nice. There is no elevator.

  • Engine customer Oct 2025

Breakfast was excellent. Had dinner there too. Was excellent. Construction next door for upcoming Olympics was loud and smelly.

On a busy road, room and bathroom Were small

  • Engine customer Oct 2025

Location was good, not too far to downtown, but you had to walk about a hundred yards down a road with no sidewalk, and not much room on the side of the road. A little disconcerting when traffic went by.
